I was at a party tonight and a saw a girl that piqued my interest. Got to talking to her. Made a comment about finding something else to drink. She mentioned there was punch somewhere and I asked her to show me where to get her alone. We ended up talking for a bit. She seemed pretty great; she was cute, pretty smart, interesting, and receptive to me.

Later on I realized I spilled the punch on my shirt. I jokingly said that it was her fault since she was the one who got it for me. She starts apologizing and trying to find stain remover or soap or something. She decides on dish soap and wets a paper towel and starts going after the stains on my shirt with me just standing there kinda helping. Little bit of kino. We laugh that it wasn't doing much. Move onto talking some more. Then I ask her for her number because I was about to leave with my friends to go see a band down the street. She gives it to me and I walk away.

I thought it went pretty well. I texted her my name a bit after so she'd recognize the number.

Later on I see one of my fraternity brothers hanging out with her after I had gotten back from the band. They had been sitting together for awhile. He had his arm behind her back on the couch. Then my brother starts freaking out that he can't find his phone. He's looking frantically. That girl starts to help him. I start looking too. She asks if he looked on the porch. They go out to look on the porch. I'm searching through the couch and stuff they were sitting on. I go out to ask him a questions on where he'd been but before I do, I seem them making out in the corner of the porch. He beat me to it. They hung out for the rest of the night it looked like. He kissed her a few more times here and there and they were holding hands off an on.

While that sucks, I was happy for him. But how do you know how fast to push without it making it seem like you're just in it for the physical stuff?

P.S. another brother made a point that she seemed kinda easy. I played it off since I had genuine interest in here but she was talking to a fair amount of guys and she did have a pretty low cut V dress on.
