I wouldn’t compliment women at a bar off the bat. It’s clearly a bribe for sex. Men are visual creatures. If you go up and approach they already know you are interested/attracted
It might work better in day game, but I’d only compliment reciprocally at a bar unless there is something unique to compliment to keep a convo going, like an interesting watch for example.
