Junior in college here.

About a month ago me and my roommates threw a kickass party at our place. At this party, I met a girl (HB8.5) who i'll just refer to as V, and we really hit it off. Didn't get the number but whatever. Last week I saw her on the bus to class and we had another great conversation. Got her number and she texted me to come hang out at our apartment's pool.

We chatted there, and I told her she should come to my place to pregame and we'll go to a party she knew about after. We pregame for a while, head to the party and have fun.

At the party, I see LOTS of girls I knew and I was talking to all of them left and right. Literally, i knew half the girls there. So I figured I was looking like a complete stud to her. At the party, V and I talk a little but she always seems quite reserved, more than usual.

So the next day I text her and this is where I feel I've messed up, so any advice on what I did wrong/how to fix it would be appreciated. Here goes:

Saturday...

Her: What are you doing?

[Me] : Bout to head to the pool wat about you?

Her: I'm here come!

[Me]: Haha bout to leave now!

I go to the pool, she's chilling with all her girl friends and i'm hanging with my crowd. When the pool crows disperses a bit, she comes over and talks to me while i'm sitting at a table with my roommates and 1 cheerleader (makes me look good haha). We have a great convo, i'm making her laugh left and right. I tell her to come pregame with me and we'll go to her party later tonight and she agrees.

So later that night....

Her: What are you doing?

[Me]: Lol just eating/drinking. You can come over if you want!

A few minutes later I call her just to see whats up, she says she's waiting on her roommate to get ready. Cool, fine no problem there.

About an hour later she texts me

Her: We're coming promise lol

Her: (Roommate's name) is almost done

[Me]: Haha no worries, just get here!

Her: We will, about to leave now actually

[Me]: Haha alright can't wait!

So we go have a good time, go to the party and I talk to her, and a BUNCH of the girls there. My neighbor's were there, a bunch of girls from my high school were there, and some new girls i just met. So I feel like I'm looking like a stud over here but she's just sitting down at a chair the whole time treating me like every other person there. Whenever I talk to her it's pleasant, but short and not like it was at the pool and our other conversations. However at one point she gives me a kiss on the cheek for good luck so that's something I guess (was playing beer-pong, ended up missing the shot, small detail that comes into play later)

So this is the part that's got me confused. This morning around 11:30 - 12 I texted her this:

[Me]: I was ridiculous last night

(I got a little drunk)

Her: Lol all good I think most people there were.

[Me]: Haha true, What are you up to today?

Her: I have a lot of school work n my Celtics are playing now so I'm watching that WBU?

[Me]: Trying to nurse this hangover haha I think Bojangles might be in order.

Her: Lol you can't eat fast food you're an athlete! (I'm a thrower for my universities track team)

[Me]: Haha true, subway would be a better option wouldn't it?

Her: Yes sir go for the chipotle chicken flatbread yummmmmmmy

[Me]: Never had that before. I'll try it. I'm actually running errands with my roommate right now so I can't go for another hour :(

A couple irrelevant messages exchanged here, but then I said

[Me]: Did you enjoy the party last night?

Her: Yeah it was decent I had a good time

[Me]: I vaguely remember you kissing me on the cheek so that was definitely a plus!

Her: Lmao yeah for luck, n you still missed the shot!

[Me]: You might see it that way. But all I saw was you falling for my trick!

Her: Lmao! Bye boy

[Me]: Bye?! Why bye?

Her: Lol cause I say so.

[Me]: And why is that?

No response

What in the world? I thought things were going pretty good, but that was a very abrupt thing to say. I've been assuming attraction this whole time, making her laugh tons over the last couple days, got her number, she even instigated hanging out with ME! And then she says "Bye boy"...? I might be over thinking this but the fact that she said that then ignored my last text is admittedly really getting to me.

So anyways if you've made it this far, can anyone tell me if/what i'm doing wrong here? Because honestly, this is the first real hiccup I've seen between us
