Title might be a bit confusing.

Basically, I'm probably not super-hot, as I'm about 5'5" and 230 lbs (and it's not schwarzenegger muscle). I'm also not that talented a dresser (read: all my nice clothes don't fit me anymore from the weight gain.) I'm told I have an average face, so I guess that's good once I lose the weight, which is what I'm working on right now.

So, basically I look at it like playing the dating game in hard mode. I'm working on changing the weight, which will allow me to dress better, but I was thinking about it and I was thinking it would be nice to learn how to be successful in dating the way I am now. Mostly because I don't want to feel like I'm just relying on my looks alone (although I do know they play a big part).

Tl;Dr : What can I be good at/do to offset average/not good looks?
