You probably didn't sound confident in your texts. She texted you, so you didn't need to ask her if she wanted to hang out. She obviously did.

You can give it another shot but you need to do it as if you know she will say and she is lucky to come along. You should be like "hey I'm doing X at Y time, you should come join!" And if she doesn't respond move on.

Oh you must ditch. She's a stripper, and strippers tend to be hip to every kind of bullshit men try to pull. Strippers also hate dudes who come in, monopolize their time, and hardly buy a fuckin thing, which is what you did. If she wanted your number, it's most likely because she thinks you'll give her money/gifts, which unfortunately means she sees you as kind of pathetic. Most strippers have oodles of losers they string along to get gifts and cash.
