First of all, I'm a European - I feel like it's important in this matter.

Those gonna be quick n simple questions.

Just started reading "Magic Bullets" (55page) by Nick Savoy. In his opinion, "leaning in" is a bad thing and I shouldn't do that, but doesn't explain why. So, my question is why is it a bad thing? I used that couple of times cos I couldn't "hear her good enough". The effect was, girl got a little intimidated (jiggled and whispered some crap like "you're crazy")/ got a slightly more comfortable with me / sexual tension built up. Again, why is this a bad thing?

Another thing is about situational openers. Nick states, that those are not the best ones to use becuase hot women are used to be hit on with some crappy situational openers. But, whenever I walk up to a girl, smile, some eye contact and open my mouth and spit out anything about shit that is going on / just happened / her unusual piece of cloth ... I never was bitch-rejected (hope you know what I mean).

Is there any difference in usage of different openers in USA / Eu ?
