The way I see it, Manson is talking about not hiding your intentions and emotions towards the girl as in sexuality.

I had a hard time before reading models with trying to be the girls friend first and hiding my feelings and ‘sexual’ emotions, but when I started getting more open with girls in that context, shit started happening.

Just my two cents on how I take his concept!

DON'T ever pour your heart out with a girl you're not with unless you want to be her friend. Haha you'd become her friend and she would use you for advice to find other men. Girls like mysterious men. They need a reason to talk to you. I think Manson is just saying grow a pair and don't be afraid to ask them out or talk to them when the time comes.

The idea is when the shit tests come you don't become red and sweat two gallons when she says something like your nose being a little big or something, it's just another way of passing a shit test, if you start telling every girl in your town your insecurities you will lose social status. Think of it as in you're a secret book with nothing to hide.
