My conversation game feels like crap

Dude, I am twice your age and still sometimes feel my game is crap. That being said I get laid a lot. So I must do something right. Do I know exactly what to tell which girl? Usually not really. I stick to some rules like: smart girls want to be told their hot. Hot girls want to be told their smart. Stuff like that. But the most important thing in my experience is not giving a fuck. And that applies to most parts of life. Be a hard worker, cause that will give you the confidence you need. But when you're out there gaming this is what it is. A game. It's supposed to be fun. For you and her. And if it doesn't work out? Fuck it. There will be another night and another girl. Practice is the only way to master any art. You have to think of yourself as an athlete preparing yourself for the games to come. Do something you're exited about and you've got something you can talk about on an interesting manner. Learn to sit in silence. You're the buyer not the seller. Ask questions only if it really is interesting to you. Make observations rather than telling some bullshit story. But most important: DON'T GIVE A FUCK. Not about you or her but about the outcome. You can't predict and you can't control it. So stop trying and start doing. Only way to learn this wonderful game is to play it. And sometimes to suck at it. Of course you'll get better. But just two weeks ago I failed so hard. It felt like if had never been out with a woman in my life. I was so embarrased I didn't go on another date with her even though she wanted to. All the stuff on here is mostly useful but you will have to develop your game in order to succeed. Best of luck and most importanr have fun!

Edit: There is a great tool for setting the sexual frame. It is called sexual chemistry and I use it always. You can even use it in other social situations for example exams or job interviews. Works like a charm. Here it goes: Think of your worst experience as a kid or teenager. Been bullied? Parents divorced or died? That. Now project that onto the other. Just assume this has happened to her as well. It doesn't matter wether this is true or not. Now tell her in your mind “You understand me and you love me.“ And now for the fun part. Now you imagine her and you having sex. And not some vanilla shit. Imagine her giving you a rim job and then begging for a spanking as reward. The dirtier the better. It is fun and it works.

Yeah, ask questions and don't just talk about yourself. It's easy to just keep talking about yourself, and totally forget about the other person.

If you want to practice your conversational skills, then practice your conversational skills. There are probably about a million ways to do this, that you haven't tried. One way could be going on omegle and talking to strangers. The next time you have a conversation with someone entertaining, make it a practice to think about how to integrate aspects of their communication skills that would work for you (without feeling like you are acting too off base from your personality). You can watch more stand up comedy. You can even take an improv class! There are so many things to try. Well the title says it all. I don't feel like it's very good. I feel boring and it goes down hill. I'm good at ending the convo when it dies down but I can't keep it alive.

The basic idea of conversation is that you must actively listen to the other person.

If they're talking, you need every ounce of brain power and attention on what they're saying.

Not thinking of what you'll say next while they're talking.

I've been practicing on flirty responses to kind of tease her and it works!

Honestly, you don't need to talk sexy, if that is what you're doing. But being playful, thinking quick on your feet, are good tools to have.

I want to learn to flirt better and effective and also respond more alpha then ever.

How is your kino/physical escalation?

Also, being "alpha," don't stress about the traditional definition of this. Trying to be completely in control of the situation, as some people define, "alpha," will only make you weaker.

I should add I'm 18M in high school so texting game needs to be good

I'd contend that you're better off not worrying too much about text "game."

One of the big pieces of foundation for "game" is standing up for your own boundaries. Not being a doormat. Etc. Not sacrificing your own well-being and success just to be available.

So why then, would you compromise your education and success, just to constantly texting girls?

You may consider setting a boundary of only checking texts before and after school, and during lunch. Anything else can be communicated in person.

and I'm not too focused on getting the dates at the moment cause I really just don't care atm and I'm confident I could easily ask and get a yes.

This doesn't make sense and I have to question if you're being honest with yourself. If you really knew you could get a yes, why wouldn't you date?

I also want to set a sexual frame up to avoid the Friendzone early on.

You friendzone yourself by never making moves or asking a girl out.

You don't avoid the friendzone merely with words.
