Alright, been back on the market for about 6 months now, and things have been going pretty well. I'm dating for the first time in 5 years, so it's been quite a journey. I've tried the OKC route, and done ok, and I've done face to face pickups, and done well. But here's where I'm having problems:
As far as I can tell, I'm doing really well building attraction. In a one on one date environment, I'll get the IOIs I'm looking for, and she'll reciprocate to kino. But my real problem is that I tend to get a little carried away. I think that every single date (except for one) in the past six months has involved a kiss in the first few hours, but I've screwed it up a few times after that, by pushing too aggressively, and trying to go for a make out too fast. That, of course, kills the moment, and the attraction, and leaves me back pedaling.
I guess I need to go with the 'less is more' strategy here? Leave them wanting more? What's the right way to remedy this? I feel like it's a mindset thing on my behalf, but nonetheless, I keep making the same mistake over and over. Insight would be appreciated.
