Heyo fellas. I work about 50-60 hours a week so I've recently started using online websites to start meeting people because it's become harder for me to meet people in real life.

I have had decent success so far in terms of getting responses and setting up dates, not AMAZING but decent enough for now. It's always a learning experience. Here's what I've noticed so far:

  • Girls are pickier online than they are in person. Same goes for guys but to a lesser extent. If you're a 7 in real life, you probably drop a number or two online.
  • Negging online can be VERY DANGEROUS and has to be done with real expertise. The best part about negging in real life is the smile and tone of voice you use which SHOWS that you're partially joking. Doing this in a text format is really difficult, the closest you can get is a smiley face which I've had mixed results with.
  • Going off the 2nd point, an honest compliment works a lot better online than it does in real life for some reason.
  • The best message response rates have been when I sent something either WITTY or FUNNY along with a compliment and question ALL SPECIFIC to their profile (sounds basic, but a lot of people seem to get this wrong). Canned pick up lines can work, but the above method has had a lot better success overall.
  • Don't ask for the number TOO EARLY and don't ask for it TOO LATE. I found the perfect sweet spot to be in the 3rd message. Too early and you seem desperate/creepy, too late and she loses interest. Either get her number or suggest a casual date, coffee shops and bars work best.

This might be very generic advice, but really it is a case by case basis online, you need to spend a little bit of time looking at each profile and CALIBRATE. Don't copy pasta. Hope this helps anyone out there even if just a little bit.

Now here is where I need some advice:

  • How do you handle girls who respond at random intervals both online and/or text. Sometimes they respond after a day, sometimes a few days, sometimes even a week. Obviously the interest is marginal at best and most of you would probably say NEXT, but I am asking advice on these situations because I want to learn and try to handle different girls in different situations, knowledge is power right?

  • DISCLAIMER* The text game is CRAP for building attraction and I know this 100%, unfortunately sometimes you get a girl's number and you have to try and build some comfort/minor attraction before you can ask them out because that is the goal. My text game is really mediocre at best and I've read most of the top posts here on texting already and clearly it's not working so far, what has worked best for you guys.

Any experience of success and/or failure would be appreciated.
