Hey Seddit, this will be a long post/ramble. Just FYI. TL:DR at the end.

When it comes to girls, I don't hit it out of the park. My main problems are that I have Oneitis, I am always too much of a pussy to make a move, and one that has harmed my confidence: looking a lot younger than my age group.

I am here to tell you guys of an experience that I had with a girl that has given me a completely different outlook on dating and relationships. I met this girl at a party 9 months ago, and immediately my brain turned the Oneitis switch on. Because of my lack of confidence and lack of experience in reading any signs (even though I still don't know if she was interested initially or not) I managed to drag on a twisted game of cat and mouse up until today. We hung out numerous times, were in a class together, went to the same parties, and nothing came out of it.

Now a lot of things have changed since that party 9 months ago. I have built up my confidence, worked out and gained 8 pounds of lean muscle, learned to play the guitar, and gained some sort of life outside of the obsession of gaining a girlfriend, which I wanted desperately.

To be honest, I still do.

However, I am still far from where I need to be. I am still a pussy, and as I said, I look very young. Thankfully time will change that.

But I made leaps and bounds today. In other words, I had a mini epiphany. The girl and I went on a "date" today. Of course, no signs were being shown, and I just wasn't confident in making a move, as I was afraid that it would fail. I finally built up the confidence to make a polarizing move on her. Unfortunately, she rejected it and stated that she just wanted to be friends.

After the "date" was over I reflected on the day on realized how free I felt. For the first time in 9 months, there was no longer any doubt. Instead of staying up at night thinking about if this girl liked me or not, I am able to end that chapter of my life and move on to something new.

By making a polarizing move (if you do not know what this means, read Models, it'll change your life) I was able to end the torture of the guessing game.

So now for the connection and end message.

If you are questioning whether or not a girl is attracted to you or not, or whether or not its the right time to kiss her, or fuck her, or ask for her number, all you have to do is try.

DO IT

JUST FUCKING DO IT.

It is a win-win. If your mission is successful, then awesome. However if it isn't, then you can move on; and holy shit is it liberating. No longer will you have to "put up" (for a lack of a better term) with a girl who doesn't like you, but you are procrastinating off making her reveal this because you are afraid that you will lose her.

The thing is that in this situation, you never had her in the first place.

At the point before you go for the kiss, or the f-close, or the number, there is no benefit in "pushing it off" so that you will have a better chance. Because you won't. Trust me, I learned the hard way.

Now don't get me wrong, you may still have feelings for the girl. Actually, you probably will. I know I still do. I still have feelings for my girl and the thought of never being able to be with her will still gnaw at me for a while, but thankfully I will get over it.

Plus, the great part is that I can now move on to women who I may have a chance with.

I am REALLY sad right now, but I also now feel comfortable moving on to new girls and to stop wasting my time with a girl that doesn't feel the same way I do.

Disclaimer: We are still friends. By "wasting time" I mean attempting to "game" her or win her over.

Sorry for this being such a rant. This is my kind of therapy. Thanks for reading.

So, TL:DR: Read Models, by Mark Manson. Don't put off making a move, since it won't change a girls mind. Try making a polarizing/decisive move like trying a kiss. This will make it very clear her feelings/intentions and allows you to stop worrying over the "what ifs"
