Like all AFCs, I have really bad AA. But it wasn't something I even admitted to myself until just a couple days ago, and it's because I don't think I have a problem with going up to someone random and saying "Hi, how are you?" My problem is not knowing what to do next. I've gone up to people and tried opening, but with no idea what to say after that. It just turns into an awkward silence with both of us just wanting me to leave.

As far as confidence and being interesting goes, I have no problem. I'm attractive, physically fit, well-dressed, and have a plethora of hobbies and activities that make me interesting. Despite all that, I haven't had a girlfriend in years (and I'm only 19). How do I start AND maintain a conversation that gets a girl interested in me? And please don't say you just have to talk to everyone.
