My view on texting

Yes. The general and most approved consensus here is texting should only be used for logistical purposes which makes sense. It is hard to build attraction and get momentum going through text unless you are some uber master of text game which is difficult. As for a phone call that's more dicey and there are varying opinions of calling women for the first time on that. Just focus on a meetup and then spit game from there and be aware of what girls do and don't do if they are super interested in you.

Completely agree. I did a texting experiment with a girl back around September. We would text back and forth all day long. I have never texted so much in my life. By the time I got her to a day 2 it was kind of awkward. Here is this girl that I know almost everything about, but at the same time I only know facts about her so she's basically a total stranger. During day 2 she hardly said a word, she was so shy and reserved. But afterwards she texted me up a storm. It seemed as if there was 2 different girls. I texted her over another 2 week or so period but it was obvious nothing was ever going to happen. She wasnt really my type anyways so eventually I slowly stopped texting her but I would occasionally run into her(we lived in the same apartment complex). And every time I did she was the same as on that day 2, quiet and reserved, making it awkward.

So I guess what I'm getting at it is "Yes, exactly" to your tldr.

Personally as a girl I love texting guys. I like to know whats on your mind, what you're doing and ultimately if I can get you to come over. So from the dating game view, I'd definitely recommend not texting (lol) It drives me insane when guys don't text me back because then I'm thinking about them more.

There is no one-size-fits-all treatment for texting. It shouldn't never be used to build attraction. It shouldn't be solely relied on for building attraction. You will know, instinctively, if you can build rapport over texting. It either works for you or it doesn't. The key is to figure out early on if a girl is receptive to texting or not and use it to your advantage.

23 years old, grew up in the era where boys and girls passed notes in class/AIM chatted/myspace messaged/texted/facebook chat into each others pants.

Never thought of it that way. You can't build attraction over text but you can at least maintain it. good shit

I disagree, I think texting is a way to kill attraction. I think actual phone calls are better for maintaing attraction, and physical dates. txting IMO is a waste of your time and hers.
