Hello everyone,
I'm seeking your opinions because I have a lot of questions right now. Here’s my story:
Four months ago, during my three-month trip to Thailand, I met a charming 33-year-old Russian woman on Tinder. We started talking, and she turned out to be very cultured and intelligent. We got along well, so we continued seeing each other and visiting museums together.
On the 6th day, we went clubbing and kissed. I wanted to invite her over, but she refused, saying it was too soon. I had a project in Phuket and had to leave a week after we met. She was unsure about our future since I hadn't told her about this trip. I suggested she join me in Phuket, and I would cover the costs. She thought it over and decided to join me for my birthday, though she booked an Airbnb for a week.
On my birthday, we went out and ended up sleeping together. From that moment, we lived together until the end of April. She even met my parents, who were visiting me, and they liked her a lot. We are still together and meet in Istanbul, as sanctions make it hard for her to travel elsewhere.
However, I have some concerns because she is Russian, and there are many stories about such relationships. Here are some points to consider:
- I’m 40, she’s 33.
- I'I think I'm pretty good(I’m 1.90 m tall) and she’s very beautiful (1.80 m tall).
- I’ve been covering all the expenses since we met. She says in Russia, men typically handle most of the finances.
- She has never asked me to buy her expensive gifts. I’ve only given her a bouquet of flowers and taken her to moderately priced restaurants.
- She is simple and not into luxury brands.
- We’re applying for a visa so she can come to France. The total cost, including the plane ticket, is 1000 euros, which I will pay.
- The distance is hard to manage, but we call each other three times a day. She has introduced me to her close friends via video calls.
- She works for a large company in Russia, recruiting people via video calls, with a fixed salary and commissions. I’ve seen her working while we were together.
- We laugh a lot together and have a real connection, both emotionally and sexually.
I care deeply for this woman, but with all these stories, I sometimes have doubts, and she senses it. My lack of self-confidence makes me doubt, or maybe it’s an intuition? She came into my life at the worst moment, after my brother's death, and helped me a lot.
I don’t want to get married, but if I want her to stay, I might not have another choice. What would you advise me to do?
Thanks and sorry for the long message.
I hope this version is clear and balanced.
