I'm still a beginner at dating since I lack experience once I get a ladies number. I recently got 2 numbers and tried 2 different ways when it came to text.

The first one I meet was work at school. We had a conversation and she was the one open to tell me what was going on with her. I empathize and related to her. This made a connect since she told me that she was dating a guy and she knew it wouldn't work out. I ask for number to get to know her better. Afterwards, a day later, I ask her out but she never replied.

The other lady was from a different job at a clinic setting who I found interesting and got her number. Problem was that I knew the interest level was not their but she still gave me her number. I tried to built connection through text but, I know I'm at my best once we go out.
