Hi, have been lurking this sub for 2 weeks and learned alot. I have seen this great post about eye contact, another about confidence and etc.. here's some background. 2 years ago I used to do group tennis lessons at this gym and we would have matches at certain points. Me and this girl would always have close great and intense matches. I usually talked to her about how great she is and how fun it is to play with her. I have probably talked to her about 7 times over the course of 3 months at that time. I knew she had feelings for me because she would act differently around me. Eventually the tennis lessons were over and she moved to a different gym and so did I. Fast forward to the present and I have been lurking for a few days. It really changed my aspect of how shit ain't rocket science. So I thought about hitting on a girl. Luckily a day later I had a private lesson with my tennis coach and some how the girl worked for him and I never knew (I knew.my coach for.abiut a year) I asked him to give her my number and she contacted me a few days later saying we should hit. And now we play with each other pretty often (2-3 times a week) mostly one on one. I then texted her this 1 day saying I had feelings for her but never said I wanted to get out of freindship. She texts back in we should hang out more. This was about 1 week ago. I take the texting advise found on this subreddit for 90 percent just to meet up and play tennis. Whenever we talk about something different over text she eventually leaves me on open to end int afet about 4 back and forth so I guess I can't freindzone myself or idk During tennis I have tried the eye contact method and she doesn't hold it often. She has like twice but that's all. I also now make physical contact with her like touching her shoulder. I just started to be able to tease her saying "no the ball I hit was in" calling her a lier but playfully. She laughed and goes along. She isn't the most talkative person so I try to hold conversations with her but sometimes we have like 2 or 3 mins of silence while at a sandwich shop or something since im not that talkative as well. At this point I feel like progression is at the end unless I get advice to get her in bed or date her. I know she's interested as she has a really hectic schedule (work as a tennis coach like, school and tennis lessons) and makes time to play with me. Trust me she is busy but.always makes time. I want advice to advance and be more then just freinds Thank you for reading :D
