I keep getting comments like "handsome" and "sexy". Answering just "thanks" always kills the conversation because women seem to think that i'm not interested, whereas answering "you look sexy too" feels really cliche.

Any good replies/ways to handle these situations? I'm good when i'm hitting on a woman, but i suck when woman is hitting on me, as strange as it may sound.
