Okay so I am 16 and there is this girl i like who is a senior, 18. She is really shy for a senior girl, and at first I didnt know this. I followed her on Instagram and she followed me back almost instantly. In the beginning of the year I was really direct and she gave me her number. The thing is I texted her and she didnt reply to my text, nor did she sit next to me the next day in class so idk if it was a fake number or if it had to do with her shyness, if shes playing hard to get, or if shes just not interested.

I decided to give her ice, and not really talk to her over the course of 2 months! which she still stares at me a lot in class , we see each other in the hallways which is really awkward because we glance at each other really quick and then look away. My close friend in our class said she looked at him once too, and blushed idk what that was about. He also says that he catches her looking at me a lot in class so I really dont understand this girl. Sometimes she turns her head and faces my direction then turns back to using her computer. We were walking in the hallway and as soon as she saw me she turned her head the other way which was cute. She also tries to get my attention and walks past me a few times, idk it felt like shes doing that unpurpose.

Help there is not much time left in the school year, she is a senior and I am a sophmore, I just want to hear your guys advice on what to do next because I would love to hang out with her during the summer, but I dont want to scare her off. Id say I only have about 2 classes with her left. What should I do? She doesn't talk much, never answered my text, but continues to do this stuff and I guess shes just shy or playing hard to get but shes always looking at me (evenchecking me out, says my friend), I have only 2 classes to make a move before she goes to college, and I would love to hang out with her as much as I can during the summer. It will be awesome to go to the summer carnival with her and to see a movie.

Edit: I feel like the whole time she was trying to get my attention but I wasnt reading the signals and I was just too shy as well to talk to her.
