So there’s a girl who I’m pretty sure has an interest in me. I’m on holiday for a week and she’s met me on the first day. Over text she’s seemed keen on me and meeting up.

We met for lunch and hung out from 1-5pm and spoke at length but when I tried to escalate she didn’t respond. For example, when I moved my arm up to later maybe put my arm round her shoulder she didn’t move away but wasn’t exactly engaging in getting closer to me basically. We’re both 17 and I get the impression she hasn’t had much romantic experience so I suspect that perhaps she is just nervous even though she talks comfortably? Anyone got any tips on escalation in a situation like this?
