I know man but I just get intimidated by some of em, I am working on myself everyday to make more money and move out eventually but for the time being I just feel like I ain't good enough or i am not in a state to be approaching them. This shit is eating me up .

My man, you are your own worst enemy. I promise you that some poor guy just pulled one of the hotties you saw today.
If you think that they are more successful than you and that it matters - it matters.
If you think that it's hilarious that they are walking around with their Prada bags and you're going to make fun of them for it because it just doesn't matter - it doesn't matter.
So my advice would be to sit for a moment and listen to the inner dialogue you're having with yourself. It's not rooted in any truth my man. Get clear on what you want, eliminate those shitty thoughts that don't support your cause and then go for it.

Well for starters I’d stop posting on reddit lol. But actually though:
Freshman year I knew I wouldn’t have the courage to meet people on my own. What I did, was found the most outgoing person and became friends with him. These people will do all the work for you. (Obviously, don’t follow them around like a lost puppy).
They’ll talk to groups of people and naturally you’ll be able to talk with them. You won’t be the center of attention but that doesn’t matter. And if you were anything like me, you’ll be deathly afraid of talking to the hot girls (still kinda get nervous), but just push through. Even though I probably sounded like a nervous reck I met:

yeah see I've been trying to do that aswell but didn't find a single cool guy like that, so it's often me by myself cause alot of these guys don't wanna socialise or anything.
