So, I'm a long time lurker who finally decided to get out there and find some meaningful relationships. I needed advice, on not just how to talk to beautiful women but people in general.

I have been able to find myself some dates through tinder/bumble easily. I have an amazing job, people say I'm a sharp dresser and I'm a well built man in his late 20s. The problem is, I can hold great conversations over text ( that's how I get my dates) but have never been able to hold a decent real life conversation. Texting is easy because I can take my time to think up a sentence but real life conversation is a whole another deal. I get stuck mid-sentence due to lack of words frequently. It's not just a problem with women but people in general. I had to work a lot more harder to reach this point in my career compared to others just because I'm unable to make connections. I'm now at a point in my career where I feel like it's impossible to go further up without social skills. I know the best way to do that is through practice. But how do I do this? Some of these previous posts suggested practicing at cash counters/meet ups/joining groups etc. I have tried most of them but I feel like all these interactions do not happen frequently enough (I've only been to the grocery twice in the last month). What else can I do to improve my skills?

A little background:

The only person in this world that I can hold decent conversations with is my sibling(Parents barely spoke to us). I'm an immigrant, grew up poor and had very low self esteem until a few years ago when I finally landed my dream job after years of hard work. I was malnourished and never took care of myself. All these things changed in the last couple of years. I lurked around MFA, fitness and many other subreddits and took advice. I was very persistent and it actually worked. I had people at work walk up to me in many instances commenting on how great I look. But no matter how much I try, I just seem to be hitting a hard wall with conversations. I'm not saying there was no improvement but I want to progress faster. I tried multiple therapists but that did not seem to help either.

I'll appreciate any input.
