Needyness and such is an interesting subject that people feel is a constant. That confuses people often and I wish to try to remedy that confusion.

Needy is a variable, not a constant.

Needy changes dependent on how much the target, subject, mate, partner, etc. and what value you have to them. Usually the value you have to them is how attracted they are to you. However I say value because it is possible to have a high social status above someone and they portray something as needy and weird because of your status alone when someone else wouldn't have that same effect.

So flowers on a first date vs for your 50th anniversary is vastly different because of the value you portray to them in their life.

This also is super important to notice if your relationship is fluctuating and is on the rocks. If you are trying to talk to her a lot when she is mad at you then you will seem needy and not normal / rational. Now lets say you get along very very well, then if you don't talk to her much she will feel more of a need for you in her life to talk and hold her and such.

Needy is a variable, not a constant.
