Hey man. Getting back into anything after a long while, especially something as challenging and unpredictable as game, can be really frustrating. First thing's first:

It seems like you're having trouble with escalating conversations and turning girls on in set. You're probably not engaging with them emotionally, escalating physically, or spiking their state. I have been having trouble with this recently so I started taking field reports to see if there were any patterns. Here's a sample from a couple of weeks ago:

Number of interactions: 5 solo(ish) 2 mixed sets

Things I did well: I went to a house party stone cold sober. I opened a lot of sets, including a mixed group with two girls and a guy. The girls laughed at my jokes and at I got two numbers and a date next week.

Sticking points: I was getting a lot of IOIs from one gorgeous girl initially, but after about 10 minutes of the conversation petered out. I wasn't man to woman enough in set and I didn't know how escalate the conversation because her hotness made me nervous - I came across as too polite.

What I'll do better next time: I will escalate more assertively verbally/physically in set, calibrating after the fact.

The beauty of field reports I've found it way easier to root out sticking points to work on (in this case, escalating). Now that I've identified the problem, I can look for ways to escalate better and take them infield.

This is where the RSD and seddit sidebar stuff are really useful. The theory stuff you learn is ultimately supposed to just supplement your infield experience and help you overcome sticking points. tl;dr Focus on going out a lot and getting references experiences. Make field reports to identify problems, then use online resources to overcome them.

My question here would be has it become harder to pick up girls ?

Not really. Women like sex and want to date just like men do.

I have been going out more and my old/new stuff seems to work but RSD preaches looks don't matter and correct me if I'm wrong but has social media made looks more important as ever ?

Social media? Nope. It's background noise.

I can pull girls on tinder off straight game, but when I meet in person I barely get a text/call back...

This isn't about making those in-person meetings sexual or escalating in the first meeting.

It's because you're not connecting with them. Which is something to do with your opener/opening style and initial conversation.

How do you typically open? What's the usual reaction you get?
How do you come up with material for that first conversation?

It's honestly getting them out after. I actually went out tonight and number closed at a bar. I am going out with her tomorrow night even scored my roommate a date! I'm thinking looks matter more than rsd makes them out to be though! I think honestly it's where I lack the most.

Well with the last gf as I posted took me for 30k paid her college car bills etc. So I went from alpha to beta bitch there! I grinded 6 years in college establishing everything I have. I kinda don't want a female to date me for cash haha so I keep that discrete. I am my roommate are going out with these girls tonight that I pulled last night so things are looking up! Any suggestions on logistics of trying to pull first night ? Or should I wait a few dates ?
