Hey all. A quick note. My last girlfriend left me a bit over a month ago, and I found this subreddit a soon after. It has given me a new direction in life, as self-improvement has always been important to me, but now with a clear direction. Dale Carnegie's book totally changed my approach to any social interaction. I just want to thank everyone on this subreddit for making my life worth living again (a "slight" exaggeration, she was just a girl after all).

After a few nights in the club I have no problems approaching girls. A simple "mind if I join in" on the dance floor has worked for me for now. However, I have trouble working my way forwards from there.

1) How to keep a girl from bailing on the dance floor?

She's all in, seemingly having fun and encouraging my approaches but suddenly she just leaves, saying she needs to use the ladies room or get a drink or any other reason. Should I just follow like a puppy or be cool about it?

2) How to isolate/escalate from the dance floor?

As I said, I've no problems with approaching, but I just can't seem to move on from dancing and some kino/groping on the DF. Should I try to lead her to get some drinks, have a smoke or some other activity?

3) Am I approaching this whole thing wrong?

Should I even approach girls on the dance floor? Is it too easy to just waltz in and have a good time, getting physically close to girls without actually building any rapport beforehand?
