Okay some friends, and I go out to a pretty nice bar for new years. First we see my friend's sister, and her friend. These two are in their early 40s (I'm almost mid 20's) and go out kinda often so the bar scene is nothing new to them. One I've met, and one is new. So they're talking, I walk up chitchat, make some small talk, reintroduce myself, and then go back to our table. Come back a little later then they have two guys there. I do the same thing, introduce myself to these guys, crack a few jokes, and hit our table. I got back, I think the new one is kinda cute, so we're chatting and suggest we swap numbers. She agrees so we do.

For a little I chat with a trio of people behind us just for kicks. Really nice folks, we toast, I roll off.

I see an old schoolmate in the bar, I used to have a thing for, she with some dude. I walk over chat a little, hand her my phone, get her number, shake the guys hand, ask him about his brother, then duck back to our table.

While chatting with them, I see a coworker, who I always thought was very good looking walk by, so I walk over, meet her friends, chat with them, throw in a little kino, talk a little about work, invite them to join us watch the new years shindig with us downtown, throw in some more kino, ask her when shes free, swap numbers, and I'm gone in flash, back to the first two ladies, who now are on their way out.

As they're leaving, sitting next to them was another duo of two older women. I make some small talk, and make a joke about all of our names stating with the letter M. My friends walk over, and are trying to drag me away. I still manage to get their numbers.

Go watch the NYE drop, and off to another bar.

One of our party members runs into some friends, so I walk over, and chat with all of them. Then we make our way upstairs to another part of the bar.

I run into an old friend from Youth Group. Talk it up with him, meet his two lady friends, and continue making my rounds. I run into a girl I used to hangout with, but things went sour. We talk a bit, we both explain our side of what happen, we make up, we give eachother multiple giant bear hugs, (I had the feeling she wanted to kiss me, she kept pausing while looking deep into my eyes as we were holding eachother then she would flash a smile, her bf was a bouncer, he was big as fuck, and like 30 feet away no thanks man) and then I hit the dance floor.

It was pretty dead, there were like five people, and everyone was just kinda doing w/e. My friends were dancing so I join them. After awhile it's just us guys, the girls sit down. There's two random girls just dancing, and theres us. Powersliding across the dance floor, partner dancing with eachother, hip thrusting like its going out of style, dancing like dumbasses because we can.

The two random girls love it, soon they get included. One tells us to keep going, whips out her phone and starts recording. Im dancing with her friend, spinning her, twirling her, and having a grand ol time.

Music stops, we gotta go. Girl A that was filming, wants to be facebook friends, but her ap is working, we swap numbers. Girl B that was dancing, tells her friend she should do what she does, and the she hands me her card. I think Damn thats a new one. then as we're leaving I chat with girl A for a bit, get some info, then get wisked off by my friends, to Dennys for a long ass wait for something that looks like food.

All and all not a bad night.
