So I'm a regular at a bar on campus trying to step my game up a little bit more. However I've been running into some trouble figuring out how to approach people there. Most of the people going out on a standard night I've seen before in my time as a regular and so I find it very difficult to approach them. I feel AA way more than with girls I've never met before. I feel like its an extended version of a 3 second rule violation and I don't know how to get past it. I've considered looking for a new place to go but I like this bar a lot.

Additional context:

This bar isn't much of a dance party although they sometimes happen towards close. Most of the girls in the bar are out in groups making solo game a tad more difficult. I also find it somewhat difficult to overcome some girls initial judgments because I'm not in a "desirable" fraternity on campus. I love everything about my fraternity and brothers but the prejudgment that comes from identifying with them is hard to deal with some times from a game standpoint...

Should I just look to other bars to recalibrate, have some successes and recover my confidence before going back?
