For context I'm in the U.S, early 40s, decent looking, stylish and in great shape.

I'm coming out of prison, I mean marriage, and this was my first number close in five years. Not anything earth shattering but it felt really good so I thought I'd share.

I stopped to get a drink at a busy outdoor venue. There were several servers walking around and I'd hoped the cute brunette with the big ass and tits would come my way. When I saw her coming I reminded myself to be cool, be different, and have fun with her.

I ordered my drink and she asked if I wanted alcohol in it or not. I looked at her like she must be crazy. She laughed and I made a joke. When she came back later I asked her how she liked the job because it looks fun and lucrative. She said blah blah blah and I made a another joke and she laughed. When she walked away I told her to check on me soon and gave her a seductive look, and when she said she would she gave me slut eyes. Bingo

I had one more after that and we bantered a little as it was busy.

Later on I paid my tab and started to leave. I chickened out. I felt like such a pussy. So before I got to the door I made myself go back and get her number. I wasn't going to regret it the rest of the day.

So, I turned around and walked across the venue and right up to her. I made a comment about something she said and how we could have fun doing it together and asked for her number. She gave it me. She genuinely seemed excited. I think walking up to her like that between the tables she was working was an unintended power move on my part.

I haven't texted her. I'm probably 20 years older than her lol, so idk if I even will but it was a small victory that has done wonders for my confidence and self esteem.

My goal is to try and have a solid interaction every day and score three - four numbers a week for the next few weeks. I'm still living with my bitch of a soon to be ex-wife so logistics are going to be shitty.
