Going to start posting project updates here instead of lurking as part of my rising confidence. Tried to number close a girl tonight at a party and had the weirdest thing happen, she got so embarrassed that she literally ran and hid with her friends! I made a face like 'Oh, Honey, you could have handled that better' and went on my merry fucking way. Proceeded to be a beast for the rest of the night and number close a a few more-far better than I would have done just a few months ago. Went home alone by choice, complicated but proud of myself. Anybody ever had any rejections like that? How'd you handle it?
