I'm having some trouble dealing with this. I met a couple women online who decided to message me first instead of the other way around. This doesn't usually happen, so I figured I'd be polite and reply. We've had decent conversations, but I'm always the one only who's been asking questions and putting an effort in continuing the conversation and this has been really bugging me. I know a majority of the advice online says that women will make an effort in the conversation as well if they're interested in you. I'm not sure if the age gap makes a difference in how communication works or what.

I've been out of the dating game for awhile and I'll appreciate any advice you can offer. Thanks!
