I've been riding around town on my Onewheel electric skateboard doing direct approaches.

I'm just starting out so I'm still in the phase where its really hard for me to work myself up to do a direct approach. I've done 3 so far. I started out not being able to do any for the first few times I went out, but the last two times I went out I did at least one direct approach.

The Onewheel works well because it covers a lot of ground quickly. I'm still learning the right way to maneuver once I see someone I want to talk to. I try to swing around so I'm 30-50 feet in front of them, then I dismount and take off my helmet so they can see what I look like.

Another challenge is clothes. I'm often coming back from the gym so I look lower-value on my board (they don't know it costs $2000) and my gym clothes. I know some people will say that with a strong frame it doesn't matter what I'm wearing, but guess what? A strong frame comes with more practice, which I do not have yet and even if I did have one, might as well give myself every advantage. Its more time efficient that way. This last time I put on some dressier shorts and shirt and a silver chain necklace. Still had my helmet, elbow, and knee pads on cause the one time I don't wear them is the time I fuckin bite the pavement.

I believe 2 out of the 3 approaches could have turned into something if my game was better. I think my game will be pretty good after 300-1000 approaches. In order to do that, I need to get up to 10 per day for a few months. So my next struggle is to reduce the time it takes me to work up to the first direct approach. After the first one, I'm good to go. Once I get over this hurdle, I think I can knock out 10 approaches in about an hour. Then I should be able to do 10 per day fairly consistently.

Anyways, thought this might be interesting. I have a friend in LA who is a very attractive Instagram model and she wrote a post one time about how this guy literally stopped his car to hit on her. She went on a date with him. Thats what inspired me to try this "Onewheel game"
