Today I realized that a big part of my life spent online,and as many people I own several social media accounts (Twitter, Flickr, Pinterest...) but until know I never stopped to think about what image they give about me to the rest of the world.

Im refering mostly to avatar+short description wich is a pretty common combo in today websites. How can one get the most on this condensed pieces of information to "transmit" his/her personality in a good way, with a good balance between professional and personal.

For example, I belong to the art world, should I use one of my pieces as avatar,write a funny description, serious one, standard self portrait, funny faces... the combinations are endless but each one gives a totally different result.

I think its an interesting topic that I havent seen addressed before and is probably common to everyone. So what do you think?
