Don't sabotage the relationship, if you want to play the long game go for it but definitrly dont sabotage. If she finds out you're probably fucked. Personally I waited the long game and came to realise she was not everything I thought she was in my head. Sometimes you only crave the things you can't have. but that was just me

I had a similar situation. She wasn't really everything I needed. I found someone else. It was one of the reasons that got her interested in me eventually. She didn't have a boyfriend, though.

Best bet is to keep the friendship going with her, while pursuing other women. It spices thing up, makes her feel she's losing you, etc. It doesn't make you look desperate. It also doesn't make you get stuck, in case her relationship never breaks off.

As long as you are not an orbiter, meaning a guy who doesn't show up as a man and show his sexual side, you are fine. Just treat her as your future ex girlfriend and when she is ready to hop in bed with you it will be be natural. But if you show up as e neutered little puppy don't even bother.
