Can anyone offer any good openers for shops?

My general approach to meeting women in the daytime is to go direct, which works pretty well in the street. I really want to try approaching some girls in everyday situations like in shops or at the train station, but I cant think of how to start the conversation.Direct would be too intense for a shop, whereas a lot of night time opinion openers would just be a bit goofy and weird in a shop.

Has anyone got any good indirect openers/tactics for the daytime?
