I am 21 years old, in my 4th year of college and I just f-closed for the first time last night.

Backstory: Freshman year of college, didn't do shit, over the summer read about r/seddit. Next year my philosophy was why not? So I started talking to more people, getting more social circles to hang out with consistently, not giving a fuck what other people think of me and having the balls to ask girls on dates and kissing them, got my first k-close spring of that year. Could had a f-close that early too, but I was too afraid then of pushing it too far.

Since that year, discovered myself more on solo-travel trips I took multiple times across various countries with the money with the job that I said why not to.

Continued not giving a shit about what haters think and stopped posting on r/seddit, because I was the person who I wanted to be. A person who valued himself above all others, and only had the intention of betterment. I started having a super busy life, and it became really interesting.

Now: Met a girl about 3 weeks ago, she was at a party and I was heading out with another girl, but I dont give a fuck and still introduced myself, 2 weeks ago, went to a party on a whim, saw her there and started talking, 1 week ago went for drinks at a bar, and last night, dinner and a movie. F-closing felt good, but not as good as everyone was making it out to be, maybe because it was my first time. But I got her off, and having fun and making a truly intimate connection with someone you find genuinely interesting was worth the 3 year wait.

TL;DR: My disappointment with success of the opposite gender forced me to look inward to better myself for myself, and getting girls became a added bonus. F-closing did not feel like a major accomplishment, because by then I was already a complete person and completely content with my life.
