So I had a first date last night that I thought went relatively well. Towards the end I may have been a little too over eager, but for most of the date it seemed like we really clicked. I texted her half an hour after making a joke about something we had talked about and she responded fairly quickly. I didn't say anything like "I had a good time" and I didn't ask her out again.

At this point I have no idea where to go. I'd really like to set up a second date but I don't want to seem overly needy. I feel like texting her this afternoon to see how she's doing at work, is that an okay idea? How soon should I suggest something about meeting up again?
