Hi Seddit, first post so be kind to me.

I wanted to share with you all a realisation I came to today. Pride (or, at least, too much of it) is the enemy.

Why do I say this? It fits in exactly with what Mark Manson says in Models. Too much pride means we care way too much about what others think about us.

The result is that we become terrified of inadequacy, rejection, criticism - anything that will damage the ego we've built up. It stops us from approaching, escalating, having healthy relationships and performing in the bedroom.

It's am extremely needy behaviour and one I think 1000s of modern Western men suffer from. It's a result of the capitalist mindset that's been bred into us - that we're only as good as what we've got, and not who we are.

I'm not saying that we can't have pride in ourselves. By all means, be the best man you can be, in every department. But do it for YOU, not for anyone else.

This is ultimately what a woman wants in a man - someone who says "I want you. Here I am, take it or leave it". Someone who is upfront and doesn't play games. Whenever you play games, you're doing it because you're scared of losing face. But who cares? As long as you believe in yourself, people can think what they like.

I think outer game still does play a part, but I feel it's crucial for us to nail this aspect of inner game before anything else. Then the outward stuff will fall into place.

Thanks for listening. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
