Hey Seddit. I'm the lurkiest of the lurkers of this place, but now, I'm in need of advice for a situation in progress.

So, a bit of background:

I'm a columnist for my college's newspaper. Last week I wrote an article that caused some controversy (a barbed reference to one of the on-campus fraternities), which landed me in some hot water. Then, Friday morning, I receive a message on my Facebook profile and a friend request from a girl (let's call her Red) voicing her support for my article and encouraging me to stand by my article for all the people who agreed with what I wrote. I hadn't met her before

Then, the next day, I find out a girl I've been in a "likes me but isn't ready for a relationship" situation (let's call her Blue) also likes another guy...yet says she still likes me and I'm not being kept around as a backup.

So I decide that I'm not going to stand around and be a hypotenuse in a love triangle. I happen to catch Red on Facebook chat later that afternoon, and we have a brief chat about my article, and a bit about the book The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and characters we identify with in it. She looks cute from her pictures, so since I already did something that impressed her (my article and the resulting controversy), I claim I have to go but say we should get coffee sometime. She says that sounds great, but I get distracted by a phone call and she goes offline before I set a time.

So I instead decide to play the waiting game and shoot her a message today asking if tomorrow afternoon would work for coffee. She replies back later that day, saying that sounds great and gives me her number.

Which brings me to my question. I hadn't expected to be given her number so fast. I had planned to set the time on Facebook, then get it when we got coffee. Should I proceed with caution when I didn't even have to ask for her number? Past experience has made me cautious about girls who are too easy to get (CLINGY!)

Any advice, or am I simply overthinking it and should just let things come?

Oh, and another interesting bit: Saturday night Blue texts me and wants to go out next Friday. Probably will, but, not particularly concerned with the outcome at this point.
