When I bring a girl back to my apartment, I usually have what I call "props" arranged in convenient locations. They aren't really props because most of the time they have some use. They also function as good conversation starters and what not.

Anyways, for example: I have a baseball bat propped up in the door corner as a safety measure (aside from defense if a girl happens to see it I think it evokes some increased security). My bookshelf is organized to highlight my reading interests (again, not just for women but anyone). Some candles in the living room. In my bedroom, I have the Mark Twain autobiography which I am reading. The thing is like 800 pages it's taking awhile. I'm a big Mark Twain fan and I'm just waiting for the day when a girls happens to want to know a little more.. crosses fingers

I also have a nice audio setup ready to go in a second to get some background music to eliminate any awkwardness if the girl is having trouble opening up.

My desk however, I feel like that says so much about me as a person. I'm pretty neurotic about the state of my desk. It's backlit well and with all the computer peripherals it looks like a control center. Anyways, the desk always seems to be a pretty funny talking point and I like that. I usually have to contain myself here when describing my setup because I'm a huge ass tech nerd but some girls find that to be a good quality.

I've met my share of women who in public seem so clean and with high maintenance but when I see their living quarters I'm freaking terrified and confused.

I try to accentuate the nice things that I have and I do not see anything wrong with that. I'm just curious as to what others have as their "props" and what their living quarters are like? Because peoples opinions of you can go so much farther than just how you carry yourself as a person!
