Hello, I am an older college student soon to graduate into the real world. I like to socialize on weekends just like anyone else, which usually involves drinking and/or smoking. Being more intoxicated naturally makes it easier to approach and show interest in females and have a fun time. Being sober I can still be myself around people I am comfortable obviously but I get to serious and "in my own head" instead of just going for it. How do I go out without the safety net of friends and a nice buzz? How do I be honest about my intentions and specific enough to actually take a girl home that night? Also for example, the downtown area where I live is at least 25 minutes away, I feel like going out by myself would just be wierd and I would look creepy. Do people just drive home drunk? and bring their recently found hook-up buddies with them?

I feel like I should be progressing more then I am. I feel like I've gotten better at opening girls but my closing game needs a lot of work. I know I need to start approaching in numbers more but I just can't find the right environment to hit it off. Answers would be appreciated
