Honesty is the most important thing during an interaction. This is actually something I struggle with currently. I'm not looking for a relationship with any girl, but I'm not a huge fan of one night stands (just not my style).

If FWB is what you want, you definitely should be communicating it BEFORE sex. That being said, it is also important not to say it too soon. You're going to have to play around with this. What's worked for me (somewhat, take this with a grain of salt as I'm still developing this), is telling her something along the lines of "I'm not really looking for anything too serious right now, I don't have the time to dedicate to a serious relationship".

Best time to say this (from what I can tell) is after the kiss, and before the fuck. It's something you're going to have to work on and tweak as time goes on. There are a lot of girls that find this incredibly offensive, so thread with care, and make sure you only pop the question (so to speak) when you 're at least you're you're not going to get a slap across the face.
