One thing i've noticed recently is that the RSD guys are often laughing and joking with the girl within a few seconds, and i feel as though this gives them an edge.
However, it seems that the only way to do this is by opening with something 'funny'. Maybe a canned line, or afunny observation, or something 'off the wall'.
Do you think that openers need to be funny?
I notice lots of people talking about 'interview mode' and I know what they mean as i experience this myself. After openening with 'hi, i'm andy', it seems that any convo naturally falls into a fairly boring 'name/age/location' interview rather than playing around which is where i feel some rappor and attractiion can be built
I have actually experienced this myself and the times i've done well with girls have always been when openeing with something ridiculous.
But i also don't like relying on scripted 'jokey'/silly openers.
I still have lots more testing to do and approaches to make, but at the moment my theory seems to be confirmed.
Like, I've only made about 25 approaches (i'm talking about night game in a pub/bar situation by the way)
My first few approaches were from 'hi, I had to meet you. I'm andy' type things, that always fell into boring/awkward talk.
Then I tried a sill opener on like my 5th attempt and had hte girl laughing straight from teh off which lead to a fun, vibey convo, and i ended up haing sex with her that night.
Then I tried that same opener again, and have a fun convo, but didn't get anything out of her.
Then I reverted back to the more standard openers 'hi' and it still often leads to boring convos that fizzle out after i've asked the usual questions.
Can anyone relate to this at all? I guess the answer is to find some humour from the interview questions, but it's not easy! Do I try to think of jokes about her age, where she is from, what she does?
there doesn't seem to be anything here
