So having recently moved into a big city, I have finally started to have some success asking girls out and going on dates. I've had a bunch that were downright horrible, and a few that were a lot of fun, but nothing quite serious until the other day.

Met a girl, went out, had an absolute blast. The whole time I thought to myself, wow this date is going really well, conversation flowing, vibes were right. I didn't escalate or go in for any touching/kissing which was probably a mistake but I felt like we connected really strongly and that I could definitely do so naturally on the second date. Well....guess I was wrong about all that. After the first date, waited a few days when I hit her back up to see if she wanted to go out again. Initially I had texted her a day after out first date "had an awesome time, let's do it again soon." to which she did respond "likewise!" When I tried to actually schedule the second date, she didn't really respond for a long while and when she finally did she sort of avoided the question, mentioning in there she was super busy with work. I tried to cut through the nonsense and told her, "lets go out again, have any free time coming up?" to which her response was just, "we'll see..."

This is definitely a sign of her not being interested in getting together again right? I am trying hard not to be needy and to have some self-worth and move on, but it's obviously hard when I've gone through a pile of shit dates and finally found someone I'm really into. Should I let go of the issue? Try asking her again? I didn't even know how to respond to that last note so I just let it go for now. Any advice/pep talks on me being a man would be appreciated. THanks bros.
