Lol the majority of guys want to do the opposite: keep the relationship confidence and outcome independence when they’re single.

Apps are a real grind and it’s difficult to get girls to meet up with you that reach any type of realistic standards for yourself. You need to keep a very low level of investment in these girls until they meet up with you.

I cringed pretty hard while reading that. The need to get closure on things in the early stages of dating is needy behavior and I think generally you're not going to get useful and actionable feedback from girls anyways. Sometimes you fail to connect and it's not your fault at all. For other situations, you should be self aware enough to know on what levels you failed on the date.

As a guy that has probably depended on apps too much, I don't think real world interaction is going to go away anytime soon. Most of the guys I know that have girlfriends or are hooking up with girls that are as hot or hotter than they are met the girl IRL. Many women see the apps as a last resort and they'd rather someone at a bar just come over and chat them up.

Go out earlier, women are more likely to call it a night at 12 or 1 while men will stay out hoping they get laid regardless of whether or not they’re having fun.

I only have sisters as siblings so I've never really had issues with making friends that are girls. It really just comes down to being a good time and getting better at meeting people. If your buddies have gf's, then you should ask them if sometime your two groups of friends can meet up sometime. Or if you're hooking up with a girl often times things go in more of the friend with benefits direction of things and friendship can form along that path as well. However, your motives as you described …

The time is gone and you're never going to get it back. Fortunately, you'll have plenty of opportunities to make up for lost time because as you get older usually the pool of women that will date/hookup with you only gets bigger.

Been there before bud. To be frank you're almost always going to be dating down on Tinder/Bumble as a heterosexual male because these apps are loaded with thirsty dudes and the majority of girls experience paralysis by choice in some way, leading them to be reticent to meet up with anyone that isn't out of their league. I would try to avoid the mindset in your last paragraph, but like I said I've been there before. Girls will sense your disdain for women/dating conventions and it will reflect in…

Less hot girls are more likely to be into you in general and your idgaf attitude while interacting with them probably helps them like you also.

A lot of girls have had experiences where guys have freaked out while getting rejected, so then these same girls will as a result not be straightforward when they’re not interested in someone. But some also don’t want to be rude and ghost you, so they reply to your texts anyways. So how do you know if she’s not interested then? Ask her out! Say it’s been great talking through text but you want to meet her in person again. If she gives you a hard time while trying to find a time that works, she’s…

In the initial parts of dating, 9/10 you’re going to be the one reaching out first. After you have sex and the girl likes you then she’ll begin to reach out and put more effort into your interaction. If she’s not doing this then she’s likely just not that into you.

Some people are just naturally better at this, they’re more outgoing so they meet more girls and are able to find girlfriends through their social network. Then that has a snowball effect where they meet more people so they get exposed to more women and that’s a feedback loop with their confidence. Using myself as an example, I’m introverted and more on the quiet side of things. As a result, I have a few very good friends but not a ton of general acquaintances which makes it difficult to use jus…

If you take care of yourself the party can last into your late 30s. But no 20-something year old girl is going to want to bang a guy that looks or feels like he’s over the hill.

Obviously depends on location and it's hard to make generalizations but I think that most girls aren't going home with guys they just met on an average night. Even girls that have sex very frequently will often prefer to meet up with their fwb's rather than bang a random guy. Girls with boyfriends should be going home with their boyfriend or no one at all lol.
/r/seduction01/04/18 04:15 PM

Well you just need to talk to them. Easier said than done obviously, but no amount of reading material or shit posting on this sub will get rid of the pre approach anxiety.

Well if you don't ask then you'll never know, you can't assume that anything other than clinging to you for the rest of the night is disinterest.

the girls usually say they have to go find their friend and then leave. This is what's going to happen with the majority of interactions that you have with girls at parties. Every girl isn't going to want to fuck you immediately, but you can still get her number to try to hang out another time. Just keep it fun an light hearted, girls can tell when you're thirsty and overly concerned about getting laid.
/r/seduction18/03/18 04:26 PM

I'd say the chances of you meeting a girl through Tinder without matching and then reaching out on snapchat are slim to none.
/r/seduction18/03/18 04:21 PM

Just eat pussy well, girls will give you unlimited chances if you're good at that but lackluster at sex.
/r/seduction18/03/18 04:19 PM

So in this situation all you can really do is just express some desire to meet up and then circle back in a couple weeks to see if anything changed. It's hard to tell sometimes if a girl is actually too busy for you or just saying that to put you down nicely but the distinction doesn't really matter in the end.
/r/seduction04/03/18 10:08 PM
1

Nobody should do anything. But the chances of you finding a high quality girl that’s not only assertive enough to lead prior to date one and also has chosen YOU (among a sea of other options) is slim.

I work in tech and I chose NYC over the west coast for the reasons above. NYC has been very good to me, I think I’ve hooked up with 20ish girls since moving here 3 years ago and a year of that time I was in a relationship. That being said I’m a little surprised to see LA on this list.
/r/seduction05/01/18 11:50 PM

So what is your energy focused on? Work or school? These should be the only things you stress about. Girls come and go, and they’ll not be interested in you for the most random reasons. What one girl loves about you another will hate, so don’t waste your time worrying about female validation.
/r/seduction25/12/17 02:13 AM

You should just focus on going out and having a good time. The times that I've felt like I had to meet girls, due to not having anything else in the works girl-wise, rarely went well. Other times I've gone out with just the goal of having fun with my friends; in these cases girls are more likely to start convos with me and are way more amenable to my advances.

While there are a lot of females in Manhattan, the bars are still primarily filled by sexually frustrated guys with draining jobs, especially after 2am. I can confirm personally as starting fights in bars used to be something I'd do back when I was depressed and had anxiety problems. So this probably doesn't have much to do with you as you think, guys just get drunk and want to start fights after striking out at the bars for a couple hours.

Your success rate is going to be lower with super hot girls (it’s just how things work), so then you internalize this as none of them wanting you. Obviously this isn’t the way it has to be, but you’re going to have to dissociate your sense of self from whether or not these girls like you.
/r/seduction23/12/17 07:43 PM
1

You should be able to gauge the mood of the interaction sooner and not have to wait until girls are telling you to go away. Some of these girls were actually a little rude but I’m sure there were hints earlier on where you could have ejected with more grace. Then you could have wasted less time with girls that weren’t interested and avoided their negative energy as well.

This is a two way street. If there’s no chemistry, then it’s her fault also. I’m sure you were an awkward as fuck but pretty girls don’t have to have any personality to have hordes of men pining after that. So flip it around. You didn’t vibe and that’s not a big deal.

My numbers are similar to yours, even a little more extreme. Around 25 out of 30 or so girls I've slept with I met on dating apps. If it works for you and you're happy with the quality of girl you get from Tinder then there isn't really an issue. I too would like to expand my horizons, but at the moment I'm working very hard to succeed at my new job and I don't have a ton of leftover energy to go out an approach girls in the park or mall. Ideally, I'd be doing this though but apps are a good cru…

Models was definitely the turning point for me. I realized that I was going on dates and basically treating every girl as if I didn't like her due to shyness. I had had some limited success up until that point but on multiple occasions I got feedback after the fact (say after having sex) that the girl wasn't sure about me because I didn't do much flirting. So I was basically limiting myself to girls that found me attractive before ever meeting and then maybe went on to find me funny/cute. Girls …

American women can be pretty xenophobic when it comes to foreigners that aren’t from Europe or other primarily Caucasian countries. I notice the same thing with myself also, an Indian or Asian accent is a pretty big turn off with a girl I’d otherwise find attractive. I’m not saying it’s right or fair but just the way it is. My advice? Work hard to Americanize your accent as much as possible and hit the gym. British accent works also if that was more of the setting you learned English in.

Biology manifests itself in the behaviors of men and women even if easy access to things like birth control can potentially mitigate some of these behaviors. So yes, an obese woman could theoretically go and have sex with probably about as much ease as a 5-7 guy, but most girls don't really feel like just being a cum receptacle. Your issue is that you're looking at it from your perspective as a guy, without really even considering what being female is like. You're thinking about how nice it woul…

IMO the toughest part about night game is the group think. You not only have to impress the girl, but also her friends, and even then one of her friends might get jealous and sabotage the entire encounter. I’ve found that big groups of girls can be a tough challenge but in groups of 2-3 they’re often at bars/ clubs for the purpose of meeting guys.

Personally, I don’t think being nervous itself is a large issue, but being ashamed about being nervous is. I don’t outright say that of course to women, but I do freely admit these days that I’m introverted. I’ve found that this largely isn’t an problem with girls that have a personality. For the ones with no personality that go on date after date and then complain after to their friends about guys being boring, well they’re not worth wasting your emotional energy.

The reality is that it’s going to happen in spite of the fact of whether or not this is the courteous thing to do (it’s not). What you can control is how you react to it, and what I’m saying is that the end result is the same either way. What I mean by this is that she’s not into you regardless of her sending a rejection message vs just ignoring you, so why is this distinction important? You definitely should be working to not get bent out of shape by this especially if you’ve been on <= 3 dates…

Many girls are afraid to be at all confrontational because some guys with huge egos have freaked out in the past when they got rejected. As for preferring a flat out rejection vs ghosting, I think if you approach it from the angle that both are functionally the same, you’ll stop caring about the difference. You aren’t really owed an explanation anyways, and I think a lot of times the explanations are bullshit to begin with, in the sense that you will rarely get actionable feedback and even the s…

So dating your high school girlfriend and marrying her is the easy thing to do, and this is what a lot of the "popular" people from my high school did. But I guarantee that a lot of these people have wondered what experiencing different partners would have been like. Because biology. Men express their interest to lots of women and then women choose from the guys that have made themselves available to them. Girls will sometimes make the move on the guy but in my experience the ones that do this are trying to bat out of their league.

7am-7pm every weekday I'm either at work or going to/from work. About 3 mornings per week I'll get up at 5:45 to lift, and I'll usually try to fit in a workout class after work on one of the other days. I just signed up for Spanish classes, so I'll be doing that every Wednesday. That leaves me with 2-3 evening week days to plan dates or just relax. The whole "it's college man you should be fucking all the time" mindset isn't always how you should look at things. I think you should be thinking long term. Getting a good job for post college life in a major city somewhere will ultimately lead you to getting more opportunities to get laid. After moving to a new city, you can reinvent yourself anyway you want. This is when you can pounce and really grind yourself into a routine that works for you.

The Romans had a saying, Amor fati, which basically means love your fate and things you can't alter. Ultimately, a girl's reason for being disinterested in you doesn't matter, especially if it's something you can't change about yourself. So you're just going to have to accept it and love yourself because otherwise having any luck with white girls will be extremely difficult.

It's not something that I bring up or talk about with friends. As for it being manipulative, I don't think that's the case at all if you're doing it correctly and honestly. The whole point is to present a better version of yourself in a world of fast paced dating where you often have a very short amount of time to make a good impression. You should meet them in midtown somewhere. These guys saying to just have them come to you don't really understand the dynamics of New York. It'll be hard to convince a girl you've never met before to go straight to god knows where up on 230th st, but if you meet her and it goes really well you can bring her back uptown with you or leave the date with just a kiss and invite her uptown for the second date.

This really isn't as much of a problem as you think it is. Basically everyone commutes to downtown manhattan (i would consider this below 57ish street) so you're all within 20 minutes of each other when class/work ends. Then if the date goes well you can spend the $$$ for a cab/lyft/uber/gett home. It might still be feasible to have first dates in your neighborhood (but I can't say for sure without knowing where you live), for example Williamsburg is a place you could invite a girl to for a firs…

What you described sounds so mechanical. No sexual energy at all to it. Girls like to have their hair pulled, ass slapped and be manhandled (within reason obviously). Not sure what you mean by putting a knee to her vagina but that doesn't really sound enjoyable. Also, I would eat her out if it's a girl you want to see again. If not then it doesn't really matter if you're bad at sex or not.
/r/seduction03/09/17 03:53 PM

You should attempt regardless but I've always found groups of 2-3 girls to be the most approachable. So don't sweat it. When it comes to big groups you're not going to have a ton of success by going straight toward your target like a heat seeking missile. You have to engage her friends also, whether it's conversation or dancing with the group.

You'll find nofap supports and people against it in this sub. I'm against it. Being horny doesn't motivate me more, it just makes me sexually frustrated so I usually jack off once per day. The whole "hookup" vs "dating" app designation is worthless because girls will use the app however they want, from hooking up, to getting a boyfriend, to just getting attention from males. Girls generally aren't going to advertise that they want to hookup.

I might get some flak for saying this but I'll say it anyways. I think the black guys that do well with white/Asian/Latina women are pretty strong on every front (confidence, looks, style, etc) and your margin for error is super slim, i.e. as a white guy they might forgive a moment of nervousness from me but if you're not a super confident black guy then you'll get next'ed very quickly. There's really not much you can do besides be straightforward about it. This will alienate a lot of girls but IMO it's the best way to get a consistent FWB. Some will even start out being ok with a FWB arrangement but then catch feelings and suddenly not want to see you exclusively anymore. These are just the normal headaches that come with being a single guy that wants to get laid regularly.

Tinder was the shit until the middle of 2015 when the swipe limit was introduced. It was really the first app that had this idea of adding a step before messaging (swiping and matching) which made it have drastically more women on it than other dating sites. I consider myself tall and handsome. Getting 5s and 6s is very easy, and I could probably bang a new girl per week from dating apps or bars if that were something that made me happy. But to push into the 7-9 range, you still have to bring the energy and confidence because you're otherwise not going to differentiate yourself from the three other just as good looking guys that have hit on that hot girl in the last 24 hours.

my therapist for anxiety suggested that any girl who would stop talking to me just because I got anxious probably isn't worth much and many girls would find it sweet that it happens and that I'm a bit vulnerable and would even be attracted to the fact that I fight the anxiety I have similar issues and also depression, and I hate when people say that. If you're good looking then you should be able to do decently online provided you can come up with good pictures. And by decently I mean that you'll get 5's and 6's if you're, say, an 8. Unless you're being needy or desperate I don't think there is much you're doing wrong since they're having sex with you. The goal shouldn't be to hide your interest from them, it should be to express your desire to be with them but come from a mindset where you have a lot of options. Girls want the guy that gets a lot of girls, but ultimately they want that guy to choose them over the rest.

I'm 25 and see girls pretty regularly that are as young as 20. I think there's a subset of girls that think dating older guys will lead to a relationship easier, it's as if they're trying to avoid the phase of their life where "immature" boys can hurt their feelings. I put immature in quotes since obviously men don't become any less interested in casual sex as they get older, and they likely get even pickier about who gets to be their girlfriend. That being said though there is a limit to where this is beneficial, ultimately girls still want to feel desired at some point so most aren't going to endlessly work for your positive attention unless you just are way more attractive than she is.

A girl I used to hookup with whom I'm just friends with now sent me a pic of herself to me in the early stages of us knowing each other. I responded with "wow you look hammered." Later on when we became friends she told that she also sent it to several other guys, and they all said something along the lines of "wow you look so hot/pretty/cute." You need to stick out, especially when it comes to hooking up. If you're just going around calling girls cute, giving them unearned attention and buying …

I've had way more sex since graduating college. I'd say a lot of that has to do with me getting a little more confident and also me being more straightforward with women. In addition I went to a college that didn't have a ton of talent and I now live in New York. When I picture a guy that peaked in college, I think of an average looking frat guy that managed to impress a few guys during rush his freshman year, so then he got into a good frat and had access to hot girls this way throughout colleg…

It really depends. If you're a conventionally good looking guy, then online dating can be effective and save you the effort of having to meet people in other settings. However, you'll almost always meet higher quality women through other methods.

I went through a pretty similar experience year ago. What started out as a very fun and exciting relationship ended up just not being that enjoyable for me around the 1 year mark. I think most young people in their early to mid 20s usually reach a point in most relationships where they realize that this isn't it for them. Generally someone does the most growing while they're single and this is something that you should absolutely embrace.

The easiest way I think is to comment on one of her pictures, or make some assumption that she then will explain why it's wrong/right.

The second girl was never interested in anything but attention in the first place, and the first convo was really bland and typical. You're not standing out at all by talking about majors and shit like that.

I pretty much do exactly this. I usually message the first thing that comes to mind while looking at a girl's photos. If I can't think of anything, I just send a random GIF. This is still better than a 'hey' or 'what's up.'

I agree. This post has some good points but it's intermingled with some butt hurt over online dating. I think that if you're not conventionally attractive and/or don't put in the effort to have a good profile, you shouldn't be terribly surprised when online dating is an uphill battle because no girl owes you anything - such as a response, date, sex, etc. Sure, women are flooded with options on dating apps. It's just the nature of biology. That doesn't mean that they are good options though. Work…

You're over thinking everything too much. This is not a dilemma, you just went to a party and didn't have luck with any girls. If you focus more on having fun, and less on predicating your entire night on whether or not you get your dick wet you'll simultaneously have a better time and get laid more.
/r/seduction11/02/17 02:33 AM

Or, she just isn't interested in the first place and is trying to get you to go away in the most non confrontational way possible.

A lot of it has to do with chemistry. Do you think you're a boring person in general or just on first dates? If it's the latter then you just need to do a better job of presenting yourself and not be afraid of potentially awkward situations. If it's the former, it's a little harder to fix but not impossible. Start doing fun/interesting things in your life and then you won't be boring anymore and then you can talk about that stuff on dates.
/r/seduction30/01/17 10:09 PM

Usually you express your interest and if she has any morals at all she will mention that she has a boyfriend.

Looking back, I would say that the overwhelming majority of girls that were into me never dodged my texts or made it a pain to meet up. Just a personal anecdote. If she lets a convo die you should probably just follow up a few days later to try to make plans. At this point it's a little bit of a long shot, but if she ignores your text or otherwise makes it difficult to make plans, then you know she's not interested.
/r/seduction30/01/17 09:27 PM

Basically, be as pretty as possible and be warm to guy's advances if you are into them. Feel free to start conversations also, but this is less important for girls than it is for guys.

Well, I'll tell you this: there's always going to be someone hotter who has more money and is less depressed/anxious than you are. It's just how it works. But the one thing that is going to kill all your chances of getting a girl is low self esteem and your extremely limiting beliefs. Wardrobe sucks and you don't have money? Go to the thrift store and get one outfit you can wear that looks good. No money for the gym? Do body weight exercises or go for a run. Maybe you can't afford therapy, but I…

At the age of 16 no relationship is as "serious" as you think it is. Generally, most girls want a relationship. Whether or not they want to have a relationship with YOU is an entirely different story but one you're going to have to find out yourself. Any outside of school activities would probably give you a lot of options to meet girls.

Being honest is probably the best move. When you realize that someone you're spending time with isn't the person that makes you want to jump into exclusivity, I would be frank and say "I enjoy spending time with you, but I only see a FWB situation here." Then it's up to her to decide what to do. If she's chill she will probably be ok with the arrangement, while if she's not she will likely stop seeing you. I think that this is the best way to get a FWB, because the girl that's ok with that arran…

So if I wanted to go to a bar to try and pickup girls then whoever I was with would just judge me. Who cares? The worst thing that's going to happen is you go home and don't get laid. This isn't really something you can accomplish prior to New Years, but you should just some Meetups in activities you like. You can make friends and/or girls to hookup with. I've been to England once and I wouldn't say the girls are drastically different from Americans. In Amsterdam, you're probably more likely to hookup with other tourists but if you can venture outside of the city center than you might have more luck. I found Dutch girls to be pretty cold, so I'm not sure if that's a trend or just the people I talked to. I haven't been to Paris.
/r/seduction30/12/16 03:23 PM

You either can make time for them or you don't. The only real advice that can be given is to integrate dates and pickup with activities you're already doing. If you're going grocery shopping, try to get phone numbers there. Buying clothes for yourself can also be a date. Just use your imagination.
/r/seduction29/12/16 03:49 PM

It really just comes down to honesty with what you're looking for. If you're clear on this from the beginning, it's easier for women to be FWBs. If you wait until they have already caught feeling to say that you're not looking for anything serious, then it likely will not end well.

First it was 20%, now it's 10%. This has always been some bullshit red pill figure. You need to do what it takes to be someone that girls want to be around. Start lifting weights, getting a good haircut and getting stylish clothes is a good start but just the tip of the iceberg. You need to work on your self esteem so that you don't even care if women reject you. In fact, using the example in your OP, you're not even the one being rejected and it's upsetting you! If you're not physically attract…
/r/seduction26/12/16 10:56 PM

Have you read models? The author talks about this. Rejecting someone isn't easy and few people enjoy doing it. When you're approaching a girl she's hoping inside that you turn out to be the guy for her. You just sound entirely too dependent on validation from women, and this is a turn off.
/r/seduction26/12/16 10:15 PM
3

Unfortunately guys are pretty shallow. We don't have any information to go off of before approaching, so your looks drive the interaction. Most guys only need a picture of a girl and by that point they've decided whether or not they'd sleep with them. You just need to lose the weight, plain and simple, if you'd like to attract higher quality guys.

None of these pictures are good. 1st picture is a blank expression in a random place, 2nd isn't great and the third is a selfie which should be avoided at all costs. The issue is your pictures give off zero personality. If I'm a girl, I'm thinking about how boring you must be. I had the same issue when I started with online dating, but then I started asking people to take pictures of me often. Family vacation? Take pictures. Going for a walk? Take pictures. I have a friend that's overwhelmingly average. Ok looks, ok confidence, ok job. He probably gets laid with 3-4 girls per year. The reason I bring this up is because the idea the idea that you have to be superman to get laid in NYC isn't true. I will say that the average girl has loads of options which probably increases the likelihood of ghosting after a date, but the same goes for you because you have loads of options as well.

I live here also. The funniest part of your post is when you act like the big gay population in NYC is hurting your chances. You have to ask yourself what makes you different than the 100,000 finance douchebags in the city that do the same exact job. Dating apps, bars/clubs, day game, and groups or classes like yoga or running (80% of these will be female) Retire this notion that you're going to meet girls to fuck with no effort on your part after college. It's not going to happen. If your life just consists of going to work and then drinking with your friends occasionally, you are quite frankly not going to get laid as often as you'd like. Put in the work and do cool things to meet people.

You need to work on your self esteem obviously. There are lots of ways to do this, but it's going to really take a complete transformation of your self worth, because if you don't like yourself then no girl is going to. As the saying goes, there's more than one way to skin a cat. Early on, I really wouldn't do much flirting at all besides having a conversation on dates. We would talk about random shit and then I'd just suggest going to a quieter place. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. Now I do a much better job of breaking the physical touch barrier and having playful convo, but we still aren't necessarily talking about sex, and I've slept with girls on date 1 that I never explicitly told before meeting or d…

Same here, but I will say that I think that my standards have gone up. A lot of the girls I went on dates with/fucked in the past I wouldn't have gone on dates with today. Overall I think that my number of matches is about the same but the number of meet ups is less. Again, I think this mostly is because I'm pickier now, not because of big changes to tinder.

It's really what you make of it. I don't think it's necessarily harder to get laid after college, but you definitely have to put more effort into meeting girls if you want to have success. The reason for this is that you won't just meet eligible girls as a part of your daily routine anymore (which was the case with things like frat parties and classes), which I think is the hardest adjustment that some guys have to make. In addition, social circle game isn't really that important anymore besides…

Moral of the story: Don’t limit yourself by living in a small city. Move to a big city and have great logistics and you will be able to sit on your ass and get laid with models off of a cheap dating app like Tinder (even if you’re just an average looking guy). This is pretty funny and definitely not written by someone that lives in a big city like New York. I live there and I do like the dating scene. I think you defining yourself as an ambivert is really just an excuse for yourself to be shy during initial interactions. At the end of a date, some women will say anything to avoid awkwardness even if it isn't how they feel. For instance if you say "hey, I had fun! Let's do this again soon!" Then she might agree, but in the back of her mind she's thinking that she doesn't want to see you again. It's pretty common for a girl to not respond if you ask for a second date through text also. Maybe their girl friends, friends, friends with benefits, etc. There's no problem with texting. As much as we harp on girls for wanting constant 24/7 attention, guys also like having someone to talk to to a certain extent. The issues with texting arise when you don't know a girl very well. Especially if you haven't met the girl in person yet or have yet to go on a date, there isn't really a whole lot you can say to build attraction through your phone. This means that there isn't much of a reason…

Smile and talk to people. I know this is easier said than done for introverted personalities, but it really is a skill that you need to practice by continuously making yourself uncomfortable. The good news is that you can practice this anywhere, and it doesn't even have to be in pursuit of a girl. In fact, I'd recommend just focusing on having fun at a party and have seduction be a secondary thing.

Humiliation as in what? Getting rejected? I think you'll find that you'll have an easier time if you A) don't expect any level of common courtesy from women you hit on and B) stop dwelling on past failures. As a guy, you're going to get rejected while you're trying to have more success with women. Some will reject you with very little grace, but that's more of a reflection of them than it is of you. The way I like to think about it is that when you're single, the highs are higher but also the lows are lower. Most women take on a pretty passive role in the beginning stages of dating. Every single first date I've ever been on I was the one that suggested the date and for the most part I won't hear from a girl after a 1st date unless I reach out. That's not to say it'll never happen because eventually a girl will be comfortable enough with you to suggest something without the fear of rejection, but I'd say it's rare that a girl does this with someone they don't know well.

You can use the same warped line of thinking for basically any part of pickup. Well most girls don't like to be treated like a fuck doll to stick your dick in anyways, so even if you don't have sex the first time it's best to not make it seem like you're disappointed that sex didn't happen. This is different than pretending you don't want to have sex, because that's an obvious and blatant lie for 99% of men.
/r/seduction08/11/16 03:41 PM

I don't believe that most guys will feel guilty when they have success because of "game", but people from the outside definitely look in and think that it can be manipulative. This has happened a couple times since I've been single (about 6 months now) and honestly it's gotten to the point where unless there is incredible chemistry and she's begging for it, I'll just leave the first date with just a kiss.

I imagine it's a but different from country to country. I bet it's more common to pull girls from bars in the US than it is in the UK for example. Simply approaching random girls in the UK (even in bars!!) will give you a very different reaction in the UK compared to the US in general. I disagree. In the USA you'll get reactions ranging from overwhelming positivity to open hostility.

You don't have to be a dick to get girls who want casual flings. You however need to be exciting and not timid.

By boyfriend material she means you're nice and good looking but overall not exciting and confident. It's not a bad thing because you can change those things. Just get better at flirting and teasing girls and you should be fine.

First of all, this is relevant. You don't really know if she's telling the truth or not. But to add on to what she said, I've heard anecdotally some similar things. We all know that girls don't need to go anywhere to get fucked. If that was her singular goal, then dating apps would do the trick for her. Clubs make money on what is essentially a small minority that pays for extremely overpriced bottle service. Without the promoters offering free shit to women to get a decent ratio in the club, th…

You said in your OP that you're an engineer and I can tell that you like to think about everything very logically. I'm a software developer so I'm sure I look at some things similarly. In the work I do, barring certain circumstances, everything works the way it should unless there is human error involved. The issue when you try to apply this same line of thinking to picking up women is that getting rejected is a natural part of the process and it can often have little to do with you as a person …

You're not just going to forget the fact that you want to get laid because this is the motivating factor to you stepping outside your comfort zone. What you need to develop is outcome independence, where you just focus on yourself, have a good time, express your interest to girls, and give no shits about whether or not they want to date or fuck you. As for your "menvy," you need to get to a point where this isn't a thing you have. Guys who don't have the luck they wish they had with women tend t…

Female psychology is interesting. In most successful relationships, the guy has to pull off a good balance of being caring but also independent. You shouldn't "need" your girlfriend or hookup partner. You choose to be with them and could be with someone else if you wanted to.

This post is filled with generalizations but in general the people that killed it in college aren't necessarily killing it with women after college. I say this because a lot of "frat stars" who didn't study hard in college end up at uninspiring job and get fat. I live in NYC, and it seems like if you have a good job, clean up nicely and have some modicum of social skills then women will gravitate towards you. What are the "high status" people doing? First of all, stop worrying about that nonsense about refractory periods. Who cares. You'll be able to have sex multiple times with 20 minute breaks for all of your 20s. Now let me tell you a story. The year is 2011 and I have sex for the first time as a 19 year old. It wasn't a life changing experience like I thought it'd be. Psychologically I guess if she wanted you to kiss her but you didn't then it would be a little bit of a turnoff. Confidence is key. In my experience with American girls, there aren't many instances where you shouldn't try to kiss the girl on a first date. If they don't want you to kiss them, then you probably weren't going to get a second date anyways.

I think women can sense the deep unhappiness and understandably that drives them away. I'm on anti depressants and they were life changing. Unfortunately, anything that treats anxiety has sexual side effects so unless you're having panic attacks all of the time then an MD probably won't recommend prescribing them to men in their early 20s. If you do go the medication route, make sure to get on anti depressants that also don't have sexual side effects. Some do, some don't.

The problem is that you need to stand out from the pack. What will make you exactly like every other guy when talking to a hot girl? Complementing her appearance. She's heard every possible compliment 1000x and it's no longer something that's novel to her. However, being willing to lightly tease a girl can differentiate you. If you are joking around and she does that thing where she playfully hits you while saying "stahhhhhhp it" you're probably in a good spot.

We're taught from a relatively early age that being brash and over confident leads to sex. Passive guys don't get laid and struggle with dating. In your situation, your friend is more on the passive side so you should take turns opening up groups. Maybe do the first opener and then switch on and off after that. I find that girls complaining about creepy guys is a form of a humble brag. It's like saying "hey look at all these guys that find me hot!" This happens basically all the time in dating, to both men and women. Some women seem to respond by putting up barriers to sex, which effectively drives more men away. So what do you do? I'm not saying you have to be a girl that bangs loads of guys, but I find that the girls I'm most attracted to have healthy views on sex. They have confidence in themselves that guys they sleep with are going to sleep around. And if not, then fuck them because it's not hard to find someone else.

Agreed. Also every comedy show I've been to the comedian will go from couple to couple and do some shtick that goes something like this: "Ok so how did you guys meet?" "Oh on Tinder? So you'll be fucking tonight if he doesn't mess up huh? Hopefully he's got a big dick!" I think it's a really good 3rd/4th date idea but it's too much without having some rapport built up.

Entirely depends where the picture is taken. Are you just flexing in front of the mirror in your bathroom? Sure then you just come off as a bodybuilding.com loser who learned to count calories and lift weights. But say it's a shirtless pic at a beach, then you're not only someone that does fun things but also finds the time to stay in good shape and be sexy. Also women are definitely less visual then men, but don't forget that's really all they have to go on on Tinder besides a witty profile.

If rejection = inaction on the male's part, then sure yeah I guess. It's a very different type of rejection so I don't really see how they relate.

I'm naturally more of a listener anyways, so this type of person I have no issues with. As long as you listen, make funny side comments, and tease her a little bit, you should be fine.

You're gonna be a dick regardless for flaking, but you shouldn't feel bad about doing it as you're just saving her time.

In general I think it's a little idealistic. Sure we'd all love to be surrounded by people that we're crazy about, but sometimes it's just not what you have at every given moment. And that's ok, but you should never stop looking for something better unless you love what you have. If she's having sex with you I wouldn't complain. If not then you're basically just giving her free ego boosts by texting her.

The big mistake here is to view flaking as some type of attack on your character. It's not really. Women are going to get cold feet about meeting strange men that they met on a street corner or Tinder from time to time. It's just going to happen. When it does, it should not phase you. Personally I just reply back "ok cool, no worries." Generally I plan first dates close by in my neighborhood so if I do get flaked on, it's little hair off my back. Then maybe reach out again a week later and try t…

It depends really. In my experience, bars/clubs tend to be pretty male heavy. I think I would have saved a lot of trepidation early on if I hadn't viewed my ability to pull from these venues as a reflection of myself. Just go to these places to have fun and if you have luck with a girl then great. But don't predicate your entire night on this like I did for several years.
/r/seduction16/08/16 03:11 AM

You can't schedule uncertainty. Girls will show up late when you tell them to come over at 8. It happens.

I'm more reserved as well and I've learned that it's all about escalation. When you're less flamboyant and don't wear your emotions on your sleeve, it becomes much more important to make sure that your intentions are clear. You don't have to be the life of the party to get girls. But you do still need to approach, make people comfortable around you, and escalate. I haven't read it but I think you could be helped by reading Models.

If you don't take yourself so seriously and stop looking at rejection as a reflection of yourself, then it will stop phasing you.

Here's the thing, being in a relationship doesn't mean that you'll never be attracted to anyone else. If your ego is so easily bruised by your girlfriend saying she'd fuck a hot guy (which you'd obviously do with a model if given the chance), then you have your own jealousy issues to deal with. Unless it's in the context of "Oh I'd cheat on you with him in a heart beat," then you completely over reacted.

Every girl wants a guy (or so they think they do) that is taller than they are. If they're 5'2 then this is virtually every guy. If they're 5'11 then the number of guys who don't violate this constraint is significantly smaller. The point I'm trying to make is if these tall girls are picky about height then that eliminates ~90% of the dating pool for them. Which is fine, and good for the guys that are over 6 feet tall. If you're not that tall, then hit on the tall girls anyways because some of t…

I agree, but if this is something that has happened 4-5 times I doubt that that's the explanation. Plus, guys who have sex on the first date probably are ok with that arrangement.

This community attracts the type of person that is awkward and usually they're motivated by some combination of sexual frustration and loneliness. As a result it's not terribly surprising to me that people have figured out what buttons to push to have success with women while retaining the awkwardness. Lets be honest, the people who go about their day to day activities and can meet women and flirt with them naturally aren't coming here to learn how to get women.
/r/seduction26/07/16 06:32 PM

I disagree with the guys saying that sleeping with them on the first date kills attraction, especially since you said that you're not looking for a relationship. If the sex was good and you're pretty no guy will be against an FWB situation.

I like fit/in shape/average body type girls so anyone on the heavier side I probably won't be attracted to unless it's an extraordinary personality match. However, even though I have been working to lose weight, my physical appearance is something that I feel holds me back from dating at times. I feel like a lot of guys aren't attracted to heavier girls. While this is a deal breaker for me it isn't for some guys. If you have a good personality there will be some guys who are into you. I feel as if I need to be single again to enjoy pickup and build up my game again - but I really love my girlfriend and would hate to break the relationship off when things are so great. Virtually every guy with a gf feels this way after the honeymoon phase at the beginning of the relationship ends. Personally, I think that a desire to reach out like this and get feedback is an indicator of a needy personality and that should be addressed. She'll likely sugar coat it with excuses along the lines of how the timing wasn't right or that she's really busy, maybe even adding in the (incorrect) fact that it ultimately wasn't any fault of your own. This one is kinda tough, since assuming the girl with the BF is faithful, it's likely she will pressure her friends to come home with her when she or they wants to leave. In terms of what you could have done better, obviously you didn't escalate at all on the dance floor and you realized this in your post. If you're just standing around in a circle dancing with her friends then this doesn't really build any attraction. And if you get rejected when you go to get more physical, then you still have…

Probably a lot earlier than you did. Say you spend a half hour grinding and making out instead of an hour, then you get rejected and have more time leftover to meet someone else. I wouldn't say there's a hard and fast rule but if you're feeling sexual energy then it's good to make a move to get her to leave.
/r/seduction10/07/16 03:13 PM

Well what did you do more specifically? I've had success on the dance floor at times, but some girls are just there to dance with their friends. Three isn't a large sample size so I wouldn't sweat it.

Good job! I think it's worth adding that getting the number shouldn't be the only goal. Girls give out their numbers like candy and the quality of your initial interaction will determine if they respond when you call/text.

I DON'T TALK or at least I don't talk about things that she can relate or finds funny or amusing. Never message anything boring like "hey" or "how is it going." Ten other guys are likely messaging at the same time with the same boring line. You want to stand out. I also wouldn't go overtly sexual at first either. "Hey nice butt lets fuck" probably won't work unless you look like Brad Pitt. Veiled sexual flirting is the way to go, where you're expressing your intent and desire but keeping it tasteful.
/r/seduction06/07/16 09:49 PM
1

Yeah this basically means she knows where you want the night to go (somewhere private obviously) but she's ready to end the interaction. All you can really do at this point is get her number and work on pushing the envelope earlier next time, in which case you would find out earlier if she would want to go home with you and if not, end up with the phone number anyways.

Everyone has regrets. I graduated college without fully taking advantage of the environment due to some anxiety. Countless times I was at bars/parties/class/anywhere and I didn't try at all to do approaches. I just froze and didn't do anything on most occasions. Now I use that as motivation when I freeze up like that. Getting shot down is much better then never trying. If you can't use it as motivation, it's best to try not to dwell on it at all.
/r/seduction06/07/16 05:14 PM

Most of the time women just use non verbal hints that basically say to the guy "come over and talk to me." The most common one I get is probably strong eye contact with a smile. Besides giving off indicators of interest, you can go start a conversation yourself.
/r/seduction02/07/16 02:08 PM

You're just going to have to convince her to invite you over. And if that's not a possibility then it's likely it's not going to happen unless you build up enough rapport to justify a 1 hour train ride. This probably won't happen until at least the 3rd meet up.

I went to a pretty "cut-throat" school as well, so I know what you mean, but I don't really think that changes anything. Girls may seem like they are too focused and shut off to be approached, but at the end of the day they still are open to being approached. They don't want to be lonely either and they might even prefer to fuck/date people outside their clique or friend group.

The answer is, well, it depends. Will busting your ass for a six pack increase your confidence? Are you constantly meeting women in a setting where you don't have your shirt on? Is it a problem of motivation? I think a lot of people do day game alone, as in they go about their day as they would and if they see someone they find attractive then they go and start a convo. I can relate in a way though. You feel like you're making positive improvements and don't really have anything to show for it yet. You're better off in the long run pursuing women you really dig because they will sense that and become more attracted to you because of it. Took me a while to realize this. You only have a finite amount of time, and it can be better spent reading, doing a hobby, meeting other people, etc.

I have sexual needs NOW Don't we all. Doesn't mean that you deserve to have them satisfied, let alone by hot women. The point is that you should be looking at seduction as a way to improve yourself. Having quality women in your life is a byproduct of that. Saying you need sex now is great, but there are steps to get to be the person that women want to sleep with if you're not currently that type of person.

What can I do to improve my rate of response, or is it simply a numbers (heh) game? Besides improving the quality of your initial interaction, there really isn't much you can do. I think that going out to bars with the sole purpose of getting laid is a waste of time. Bars usually tend to skew heavily male, with every guy there trying to get laid. There are much better ways to meet women than at a bar at midnight on a Friday. That being said, I go out to bars all of the time to have fun with friends and sometimes meeting women is a pleasant side effect. If you're not looking for ONS's you can still chat women up and get numbers.

Sounds like you live in the UK. If it's anything like here in the States, Asian guys have to overcome a lot of dumb stereotypes when it comes to dating outside of their race. For a lot of white girls being Asian or Black is an automatic left swipe. The reason I say this is because you sound like an overall attractive and interesting guy. But being a minority on online dating can be like a salmon swimming upstream. I think you would have a lot more luck using other types of game to meet women and…

Really surprised this is being upvoted. Yes being in good shape and having good fashion sense helps. But if you're not confident and never put yourself in a position to meet women and keep them interested, then that shit doesn't matter.

I wouldn't use /r/tinder as any type of indicator at what you should be experiencing while using the app. Some girls won't fuck on the first date no matter what because they want to be more comfortable. Others will do it if your game is enough. It sounds like you have some FWBs that are catching feelings. I would eliminate any type of "boyfriend" type of behavior if this is not what you want. Girls will get the wrong idea if you're cooking them breakfast and kissing them on the head after bangin…

I think that you can read as much as you want about game and how to present the best version of yourself, but if you're not consistently putting it into practice then it's useless. There really isn't a mystery what needs to be done in order to have (more) success with women. The issue is that this goes against the nature of a lot of guys, myself included. To be brutally honest, it seems like you overthink things way too much. I didn't even read your whole post but my impression is that it boils …

Basically that means assume attraction until you know there isn't. I've gotten numbers from a few girls that I never heard from after texting. Looking back, some of these girls didn't give me strong IOIs or anything else for me to go on that would indicate interest on their part. Instead my time would have been better spent opening up other sets. Your gut is usually right about this sort of thing. Edit: But in the end you never know for 100% certainty so there is no harm in asking for a number e…

As an attractive guy who struggled with confidence early on, Tinder was quite frankly life changing for me. It helped me build up a ton of confidence when it was the initial parts of going out and meeting women that were definitely most difficult for me. I don't think many people actually suggest online dating as a replacement for going out and meeting girls and I doubt many people choose to stay home and jerk off to Tinder as opposed to hitting up bars with their friends. So in that sense I fin…

Think about it this way: you're either building attraction in the initial stages of knowing a woman or you're allowing it to erode. So your next interaction that you're trying to pick up someone, think about what you're doing to make it to the next milestone of seduction. If you're chatting a girl up at a bar and she's laughing at your jokes, begin to break the physical barrier. Don't just assume that she's into you, or rather if she thinks you're into her. You could just be some guy looking for…

There's a certain ceiling that each man has with his looks. Hit the gym, dress fashionably, and be clean and you'll be close to that ceiling. Fortunately our value in the dating pool isn't as dependent upon looks as it is for women. If you're ugly, short, fat etc you can make up for it with confidence. Being better looking doesn't hurt, but the guy that does the most approaches and has the biggest balls is usually the one that is laying next to a warm body in his bed at night.

Everyone experiences this. Except for the lost part. It's sex. Nothing special. Just something that everyone wants to have and it sucks when you're not having it.

I've been on both. It's largely the same type of girls. Maybe the OKC ones are a little more interested in a relationship. But it's worse in the sense that women are getting bombarded with 100s of messages from men every day. If he's not having luck on Tinder it's unlikely he will on OKC.

Sex doesn't give you confidence. Believing in yourself and being happy with your life gives you confidence. I think it absolutely does. If you can act like you've been there before, because you have, women will pick up on that. Right now he's viewing women as some type of mythical unicorn, and the quickest way to change that would be to become sexually active. There's a more diverse group of women on OkCupid who he may have a better chance at getting a response from. I've used both and I really …

You're a virgin man, save yourself for someone you care about. It will make it more special. This is terrible advice. Almost every other girl won't be a virgin that's anywhere close to his age. He's not 20, He's 29. People are getting married by that age and he needs to get more sexually comfortable as quickly as possible. If he waits for it to be "special" then it's never going to happen. It is not the case for men like it is for women where virginity is some sacred thing to hold on to. Just ha…

That is a valid point. You should just do what you want to do. If you stand to gain anything from a friendship then by all means go ahead. But thoroughly evaluate your reasons for going ahead with the friendship. If there is any ounce of you that is just doing it in hopes she changes her mind and develops feelings, I don't think it's a good idea.

It's a little dishonest to do anything to hold on to these girls while you're committed to anyone else, and it's unreasonable to expect them to "wait for you." Girls do it all the time. They become single, date a couple guys, choose their favorite and then friend zone the rest so that they have backup options at their beck and call. As I don't like this practice, I can't advocate a guy to do it. Just be honest, tell them that you're becoming exclusive with someone else. This might not even be so…

Was going to type something similar to this. Girls have a severe advantage when it comes to Tinder and online dating. They are just completely outnumbered by thirsty guys, and it gives them the pick of the litter. Flip the script and meet better girls in person. Tinder has it's place, but it shouldn't be the only way you meet women. It's easy and convenient but men will meet better quality of girls by day approaches or at a bar.

Not sure if I'm going against the grain here, but, isn't accepting her friendship and moving on even a better mastery of your own character? Not really. I think the "lets be friends" line is just a way to let someone down gently. I don't think it's a very legitimate offer to be friends. At best, she's identified you as a potential romantic partner but at the moment she has better options. At worst, she isn't interested in being friends in the first place and is trying to be nice while rejecting …

Well, that really depends if your natural self possesses qualities that women find attractive. Not everyone has those qualities and some guys have to work very hard to get to that point. Yeah, being yourself is great when you're naturally outgoing, outcome independent and have no problem approaching women. If you're introverted like me though, these things don't come naturally and need to be worked on in order to have any success. "Being myself" entails being alone and jerking off at home.

For sure your place. If that's not an option, then find a way to invite yourself over to hers. I've been living with my parents for the past couple of months after college ended while I'm waiting to move to a new city for a job I found. Yes, it is annoying when you can't really bring girls back to your place. But, like in sports, the away team can still win. This has been my best year in terms of game (7 f-closes) and while living with your parents isn't ideal situation, you can still have a lot…

Nobody actively encourages these games. They are just conflicting desires. Women want sex, but they also don't want to come off as easy. What results is making men jump through hoops in order to earn the sex. I'm not saying it's right but it's simply the way it is. For men it's entirely different. We have sex, feel good about it, and there usually isn't any associated guilt or slut shaming that comes along with it.

Making out with a girl at your house and every time you go to take her shirt off she swats your hands away? That is not a “Fuck Yes,” my friend, therefore, it’s a no and you shouldn’t pressure her. The best sex is “Fuck Yes” sex — i.e., both people are shouting “Fuck Yes” as they hop between the sheets together. If she’s not hopping, then there’s no fucking. Had me until this paragraph. We all know the types of games women play in order not to come off as easy.

People who are going through breakups aren't thinking rationally, so it's important to remember that when trying to give them any help. They act like the world is ending but in reality a relationship that wasn't working out came to it's natural end. It's normal, and the majority of relationships end at some point with at least one person deciding it's not a mutual fit. Should you convey this to a heart broken person who thinks that they let the love of their life get away? Probably not, just mak…

Use your status as a foreigner to your advantage. Depending on the place that you're moving to, just speaking English can be a huge turn on for them. People complain about the friend zone a lot, but I think for the most part it's self inflicted. This can be entirely avoided by making your intent clear early. It's fine being friends with someone that doesn't share mutual attraction with you: it's part of life. Dut don't allow yourself to be the guy that's there for someone else emotionally when they aren't even there for you.

I wouldn't use it as a crutch, but online dating can help you get your foot in the door if you are in a new area and don't know too many people. Tinder is great, I've met some really interesting people on there. Don't take that as an invitation to stop all cold approaching or meeting people IRL though. Online dating is just another tool in your tool box. Not the best one though. Use it, but don't become dependent on it. I still think that the hottest girls need to be picked up outside of the onl…

I think that you're just experiencing the downsides of dating pretty girls. They have lots of options (and I mean LOTS). The single ones usually don't have trouble finding a boyfriend, and they have no trouble getting dates. And while guys have to put conscious effort into approaching and getting numbers, hot girls (anything above a HB8) will just walk down the street and have guys begging them to buy coffee for them. It really does sound like you're doing a lot of things right. As long as you'r…

So if you're sitting at a bar turn your body so your facing her. If she says something funny then touch her shoulder. Usually after drinks I will try to walk around with her for a little bit. First date is probably a little too early to hold hands or anything like that, but you can definitely lead her with the small of her back when going out a door or something along those lines. If there is a quiet place to sit down while walking around outside on a bench or something that works well. Put your…

The issue is that any good looking girl has 40 new messages a day from random guys. If you aren't consistently aggressive, she will forget about you because some other guy is kissing her feet. It's the problem with online dating in general...the women are consistently bombarded by every male on the site (who usually out number them). That's why I definitely prefer to meet someone in person, but online dating can be a good tool in the back of your pocket if you haven't had the chance to approach …

Jesus, for the love of god, just approach people. You will never be in a better environment to do so again. You will be hard pressed to find a place where there as many unattached girls that are dying to be approached. I just graduated and moved back home. IT IS TORTURE HERE. Have a reason to tell the story, and I would gloss over any details that aren't important to the point of the story. These people that are known for being horrendously bad story tellers tend to go on and on about information that people don't really care about, or they would but they are just being over inundated in a loud bar environment. Just get to the point, kid. Even if it turns out to be a bad story that no one finds funny, taking 30 seconds to tell it isn't really that bad. On the other h…

I'm in a similar boat dude, the few girls I do end up getting I think are attracted long enough to my looks to get over my initial awkwardness when meeting new people. Just gotta go for it, and fuck feeling awkward. Learn to love rejection and you'll start getting quality women. The worst thing in the world is the feeling where you missed out on an opportunity because you just weren't entirely sure what the outcome was going to be.

Honestly it isn't that bad. Probably would be considered relatively mild acne. It's more I'm just trying to work on not touching my face at all when I'm bored, which will simultaneously cause less acne and make me appear more confident.

I usually just talk about anything for a little bit, making veiled sexual jokes if there is an opportunity. After a few back and forth messages I'll say something along the lines of "What's your number? I hate the Tinder messaging interface." And then text her immediately afterwards so she knows who it is. At that point I'll try to set up a time to meet for drinks if I have interest to do so. Talk is cheap, and no talk is cheaper than text messages so I try to be direct and to the point.

What are your suggestions for taller guys when talking to shorter girls? You mention that "pecking" is not a good idea, but in a noisy environment (bar, club, party, etc.) this is one of the only ways that I can talk to a girl that is under 5'5.
