College-aged male here. Tomorrow night I'm taking a girl out on a date for Valentine's Day. This will be my first real date since having been dumped out of a four-year relationship back in October. Since then, I've aged lightyears when it comes to self-confidence and self-worth. I've even had fantastic luck talking to random girls at places from clubs to the grocery store. For the most part, I've had zero issues pushing for a number... but my biggest problem is escalating.

Background info: I met the girl at a local bar-band concert. Talked a bit, flirted with other girls, but essentially this one kept coming back. Danced a bit at the end of the night and insisted she take my number. A few days later she's texting me. It stays pretty flirty for about a week and we even get coffee once before class.

Either I don't know what to say next, or I'm simply not comfortable enough touching with a stranger like that. We're going to a fairly nice restaurant, but I basically have no plan of action.

TL;DR: Got a first date tomorrow, need to know what to say / how to escalate properly
