Thank you. Case in point, a guy on my team lives this out. He is a senior architect. Confident, a bit cocky, assertive, and an informal leader. He could get promoted up if he wanted, but he doesn't want the problems that come with management. Sure enough, people stop talking in meetings when he starts talking. An excellent storyteller. His tone of voice and communication style is strong, yet not over the top. And he works pretty hard at getting better. People on the team are always saying "what do you think Bob?" or "let's be sure to get Bob's input". (Bob is not his real name, you get the point).

All this sounds pretty familiar to me. ;) He also happens to have spent a lot of time over in Tokyo at an old job of his. He has some pretty cool stories from that, like meeting the biggest baseball players over there and not realizing who he was, just sitting there BSing with the guy and his dad (or agent, I can't remember).....

and sitting directly across the table on Guiness import night at some high end hotel (same table) from the head of some japanese mafia family and two HB10 russian models sitting next to said mafia boss- and also not knowing who that guy was. lol. (He doesn't seem like the type to make up BS stories).

When i did my student teaching internship, you wouldn't believe how nervous i was to at just the young age of 21 getting up in front of 16-18 year olds. However, since i was forced outside of my comfort zone, i was also forced to adapt. and that i did, very, very fast. I not only noticed how my lesson delivery had improved as i became more quite comfortable speaking in front of the classes, but i was also astonished at how confident i became outside of the classroom.

I felt like i really broke through when after becoming comfortable with just getting in front of the class, i started utilizing new teaching techniques and also lightening up my mood, joking around with the students more. This is when I commanded the most respect from them and this is when i honestly started giving no fucks on a night out.

Since then my internship has ended, and honestly I can say that the lack of a forced departure from my comfort zone has left my game subpar to what it was before.

I'm starting to think that if I could only explain one aspect of seduction to people wanting to learn, it would be STEP OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
