Hello everyone

This probably is not for seduction. I am in no way a pro. But I still wanted to post here, for people to see.

A lot of the guys who post here are successful with women. Sure they may have had a tough start but, similar to a Disney movie, they worked hard and miraculously got results.

Please do not misunderstand. I am not disregarding or belittling these guys. I look up to them. But in all honesty, I find it hard to relate to them, and I feel a lot of people may be like me.

A little background information: I am male and 17 years old. I am in high school. I find it easy to talk to everyone, and that is where the good stuff ends. I have always been fat. I tried but failed to gain the body I wanted. Then school got in the way. The workload and studying means I have no life. I spend my days watching youtube videos or reading everything on seduction and askseddit.

Recently, I added an old friend on facebook. I had not seen her for six years. Got talking and at the start I genuinely did not care. I said random alpha stuff and I did not expect results. Maybe she was attracted to me. Who knows.

I brought up the idea of a coffee date, and she seemed to like, but then I pushed too hard to label it a date and I feel I killed it. She takes ages to reply now, and I am somehow attracted to her.

What to take from this? Yet another example that when you are not invested in a girl, she will most likely try to chase you. Show your attraction and her attraction to you dies.

Why am I rambling? Why am I, a pathetic teenager, taking up the time of the successful men here?

I just want something relatable. My life sucks. I hate my image, I hate school, I have no social life. I have confidence, but it comes and goes. I cannot simply leave and start a new life, the odds are literally stacked against me.

I am a smart guy. High flyer academically, or used to be anyway. Whether it was a sport or a video game or a test, I can study, perfect and pass.

Girls are not like that. I bought and read Models, though I feel I rushed it and I need to read it again. I thought Models would be my answer. It wasn't. The truth is: there is no answer. You cannot study for girls. It is not a game, a battle plan, there are no tactics.

It is pure chaos. Some guys naturally make sense of it. Others do not. I do not see my life changing. I will lose weight one day, but it will just be day after day of hard work. Study hard to get into med school then skave away for the best part of a decade.

Unfortunately, I digress. Many of the guys here are hard to relate to, personally.

Many people just say oh you are 17 you still have your life ahead of you. And that may be true, but the fact that everyone I know gets somewhere with girls, and I do not, confuses me. Everything I read on seduction and nofap makes perfect sense. Flawless sense and logic. But I cannot seem to implement it in my life.

I have read the sidebars countless times. I know that askseddit is the place for beginners, but over there it is mostly questions.

So finally, here is what I hope to see. Relatable posts for many guys here. And some realistic practical advice for beginners. Advice that can be implemented in some way.

Also, if I am wrong about my views or what I think, please do not hesitate to tell me so.
