This little tip right here was one of the gamechangers for me. The idea that putting myself out there actually increased my chances, not because of any sort of mathematical ratio or anything like that(which of course it does) but because it's biologically more attractive to women. Honest raw sexuality. It's chick crack.

Great video. Progress not perfection is one of my personal mottos, and one I apply in business as well when training my employees/contractors/whatever.

Sales. It's a very similar skillset, it'll introduce you to a wealth of different individuals, and it's a career that you'll always be able to return to. People always need a good salesman all over the world. Bartending isn't a bad idea, but I highly recommend sales.

There's no answer to this other than to just do it. The only way it'll be a thing if is you make it one. I know that's not very actionable advice, but it's the truth. Go up and introduce yourself to people. Your heart will be pumping in your throat when you first approach, but you'll get over that sooner or later. Or you won't. Either way, it doesn't change things. I'd start by posting up at the bar, talking to people there as much as possible before you try to infiltrate the dance floor.

I'm going to throw out a couple more tips. First, this seems like it's against so much of what we've taught ourselves, but it's ok to respond to a text right away. Sometimes, it's even better to do so. Just like there's a flow to a face to face conversation, there's also a flow to a text conversation. If you've actually got some banter going, roll with it, be natural, enjoy the interaction for what it is. Iphones are super handy for this, because if you see she's doing the bubble thing to respon…

Can NOT agree more. I flipped my pics from some fairly high quality solo ones where I wasn't smiling, was solo and didn't look particularly attractive but, what I assumed at least, were fun. Went from that to a solo grainy picture of me looking like a Channing Tatum motherfucker in some clothes MFA might approve of, surrounded by three pretty smiling girls ... Rates improved, considerably. Seconded.

Owch. Sorry, dude. Here's the deal: it's college, and sex is the least shameful it'll ever be at that point. If you can look past hooking up with the same girl your buddy did, then I say go for it. Honestly, it happens all the time. Particularly in college. But that's all about your confidence in yourself and where you're at in your personal development. It sounds like you're in a good place, though, with the abundance mindset. And the great news is ... hey! You're in college! There's a new pote…

Sniffle I miss college ... Here's the best part about your life right now, and I know this is going to be a weird thing to hear: it does not matter one bit whether this girl is the awesomest girl you've met or not. Because, there is a 99% chance you're going to meet someone hotter and cooler. Once you accept that in your head, life will just go so much smoother. If nothing else, you're in college ... the sorority parties, the keggers, the sloshball, the drunken days of bikini clad olive skinned …

Think Ryan Gosling in Crazy Stupid Love. "What are you doing tonight?" "I don't know." "I do." Steve Carrell: "Does that work?!" Ryan and girl: shrug "Yeah." Boom. There's your answer. Hollywood will never steer you wrong. Feel free to ignore that last piece of advice. Edit: movie plans should never be your goto. Go to a bar. To be fair, the video seems like a legitimate response. Kidding. In all seriousness, you really just don't have to let it affect you in the slightest. I've gotten in the habit of just going in for a kiss on girls I really don't care if I kiss or not within the first thirty seconds of meeting them, and then just laughing after they point out how aggressive I was. Now, this hasn't yielded productive results yet. But it has shown me just how little of a fuck anyone will give about your actions if y…

I sometimes have a similar situation. Many of my friends were "naturals" growing up, which always left me feeling incredibly insecure. One dude was an actual male model. I, on the other hand, had huge confidence issues, was a late bloomer, and pretty much the example of what kind of man eventually ends up exploring these studies. At any rate, just last night, there were zero single, available women at a wedding of one of our very good friends, and so I was just practicing my game on the bartende…

Wow. I mean, thanks for the assumptions you're making. But man oh fucking man you're far off. I didn't lose my virginity until I was 23. Wrap your head around that. I didn't kiss a girl with my tongue until I was 21. I had a blind date to my senior prom and couldn't figure out how to kiss her. My best friend slept with my dream girl. I mean, I could go on with my "loser cred."

I'd check the way you're actually #closing. Girls will give their number pretty easily if you ask for it forcefully (think give them your phone, tell them to type it in, etc.). You need to actually build attraction for them to respond when you reach out, though. If there's no real chemistry, just game, you're gonna play a heavy LOA.

Here's my theory. You're making them nervous. To dare think that a woman might actually know what we're doing when we're hitting on them is a thought that makes any beginner in this art tremendously nervous. Remember, most men (including myself) originally got into this because we didn't naturally know how to interact with women. Hell, some of us still don't. I know I have my moments of weakness. To admit that you know exactly what I'm doing when I ask you if there's anything good on this menu, …

Oh, you. I'm not sure you realize the difference between "advanced game" and "beginner game." Here's the progression I've seen (as documented by Neil Strauss, Manson, Tyler Durden and tons of others) is that a person begins with canned games, cheesy openers and routines, finds a degree of success but ultimately realizes that they're at their best when they're honestly internalizing the greater theories into their own authentic selves. Those theories being: assume attraction approach constantly p…

Opening anywhere anytime. I've gotten very good at approaching women in contexts where they're there to be approached: i.e. parties, bars, etc. But I know that there's literally hundreds of opportunities I'm not taking advantage of because it's not "appropriate" which is the most bullshit mental limiting belief I could ever have. Kino early, kino often. I just need to be more consistent with this idea in general. Closing every interaction, asking for that number. I've walked away from too many s…

I'll go one step further: -Don't compliment a girl on her looks, she can't control them, unless you've already started to get physical and now are describing the way her looks make you feel. -Don't compliment a girl unless she deserves it. True story. As a former bartender, one of my greatest regrets is that I didn't have sex with a single one of the absurdly hot cocktail waitresses. Stupid respect for work atmosphere. Protip: if they say they have a boyfriend, and they're a cocktail waitress, there's a good chance that doesn't matter. Now, whether that affects your own morality or not is a completely different story and the ball's in your court on that one. But it should definitely not be a dealbreaker.

I know the feeling of "God, why can't I find someone like that." I was there last week. But the reality is if you take care of yourself, really work towards becoming the man you want to be, it really is just a numbers game. I didn't have any miraculous lines or anything when we interacted, and honestly, was pretty dead tired from being with a different girl the night before. She really led the interaction and I just presented myself as I am.

The trap I fall into with texting after a physical night like that is getting too complicated and overthinking it. It's kind of like an opener. If it isn't natural or organic, it could easily just be seen as cheesy and not at all effective. When in doubt, Keep It Simple Stupid.

I hate to be that guy ... But you're in college. Your results are impressive, yes, but, I'll say this again: you're in college. You're in an extremely target rich environment where girls first of all have a commonality with you, but also are extremely open to fliratious flings/carefree sex/naive experimentation/etc. If you can still get these results two or three years out, then, yes, by all means, you should consider passing on your life lessons. I feel obligated to reply to this. As you may or may not know, I've submitted an FR or two, all titled "Average Guy" game because, in my eyes, I'm a pretty average guy. Most of the time, I don't get much attention due to my looks ... or so I thought. Most of the time, I don't consider myself a particularly handsome man ... or so I thought. First off, well done. Second of all, to the haters, the folks saying "dude, she picked you up, you did no work, etc." Firstly, you're right. Secondly, look at the broader lesson from this: so much of seduction is just allowing yourself to succeed. We think ourselves out of positive situations so often. To be honest, it's probably the unifying trait of AFC's: not acting but thinking ourselves into inaction. Take a look at the way OP recognized a potential opportunity and seized upon it. Now keep …

The truth can often be offensive and condescending, that doesn't make it any less true. Humans are, on average, not very bright and make not very bright decisions. That's a truth exemplified every singe day. Hell, it's part of the reason why the world's as messed up as it is. Yet does saying such outloud make one a monster? No, it merely means one is observant. Once again, stop putting words in my mouth. I never made that precise statement, so using quotations is just lying. Evolutionary theory: strong genes survive, thus it is in a mother's best interest to preselect the best mate for her offspring. I think I'd have to attribute that thought to Darwin. Biology: women are vulnerable for 9 months at a time while pregnant and, given mankind has existed in a nomadic level for the majority of its time on this planet, that meant that women needed a protecto…

The ones who "have it down" are the ones you'll never see coming. The folks who are so smooth, you'd bet it's natural. Both sexes are controlled by factors outside of their control. Nature, biology, thousands of years of evolutionary theory, society, all sorts of factors. You don't need citations to recognize that. That's really not a healthy way to go through life, man. I know plenty of girls who have had plenty of frivolous sex. They're very successful at their careers, they're good friends of mine, and they're happy. What's wrong with that? Hypergamy exists and women do tons of mental gymnastics. But I'm not going to villify them for having sex. I'm going to enjoy them for having sex. And I'm certainly not going to waste time having bitter feelings about people.

We are not who we sleep with. We are more than a summation of our sexual partners. Just because a girl's gotten around doesn't mean she's worthless in all aspects. Once you wrap your head around that concept, things will start to gel a bit more congruently.

No, no, no, no. I hate the fish and fisherman example. So I just put it in basic human psychology terms: people say one thing, they act a completely different way. They do it all things, particularly dating. Women go through such mental gymnastics to rationalize their life choices, as do men, I might add, that you simply cannot trust them to say what works to pick them up and what doesn't. Even if I'm hitting it off with a girl, after thirty minutes, conversation starts to dry up. It's something I really want to work on, and the really frustrating part about it is I'm generally a pretty skilled conversationalist. But for some reason, when I'm trying to hook up with a girl, I start to run out of topics …

You're dearly mistaken. Incompetent lawyers don't get hired. In today's market, competent lawyers are struggling for a job. Yeah, I could tell you a bunch of anecdotal evidence, but the WSJ actually did a good analysis of this issue. Note, that was in 2012, and considering the fundamentals have not resolved themselves, it is my suspicion that it's worse now. Edit: it's actually worse than I thought. Students are now attempting to sue their law schools for making the false promise they would be e…

What the fuck is wrong with guys now days? Answer: scarcity mindset. I think the guy in general is a little entitled. He went to law school on the promise that it would guarantee him a good job, which was the case in previous generations to be fair. He thought getting the good job would get him the girl. It did, but the girl's wising up to the world around her, her unconscious instincts are kicking in. Maybe he genuinely cares for her, maybe she's just the hottest girl he's ever had sex with, wh…

I think one thing that's important to remember is that your father grew up in a very different world than you. Women didn't act as openly and overtly sexual, smartphones didn't exist, Facebook didn't exist, cell phones may not have even existed. Simply put, the many, many avenues for female hypergamy just weren't there yet. As a result, some of his "old fashioned/beta" mode of being may have been perfectly fruitful in his environment. As you know, they are not now. So I would placate him, take w…

I suppose that's all true. Looking back on my personal experience, I've definitely had moments where I suddenly became a "lot more interesting" than I initially appeared. Often it's because I meet them in a workplace setting and when I get to cut loose, I appear a lot more fun. I'm still working on that aspect of my life, but sobeit. Great post. However, I think that while preselection certainly helps a girl decide right off if she's going to have sex/mingle with/whatever you want at that moment with you or not, there is the very real possibility that a woman will change their mind. It may not by instantaneous, although it certainly can be, and it may not be for years. However, as this Seduction world is a path we travel to find the better, more attractive version of ourselves, I don't think men should rule out any possibili…

This is going to be wildly controversial, I suspect, but that friend sucks. Yeah, this guy really needs to learn some lessons in life in general. But, having been in situations similar to that on both sides of the coin, I just don't do that to my friends. Girls are like buses, wait 15 minutes, another one comes by. But if I have a friend that's that much in need of help ... well, doing that will just ruin whatever self esteem he has left, which will hurt him. Now ... if I was drunk on the other …

Right now, I know I just like being with you and I don't want to put too much pressure on this. But hey, if you're not comfortable, no problem." [BREAK] "Do you mind if I check my e-mail real quick?" First of all, ThrowawayPUA has a fantastic response that you should really pay attention to. Secondly, what I've noticed about Seduction, and granted, I am no master, is it comes down to broad concepts and that execution may vary. I'm sorry, I have to say this ... There are no college seduction challenges. Your ridiculously small school has 1000 people of the right age to be attractive. That means, if we go by the silly 1-10 rule, there are 100 HB 10's there, 100 HB 9's and 100 HB 8's, so even if you're somehow above the standards of an HB7, you have 300 girls to approach. Moreover, in college, girls are so open to free spirited behavior, it's ridiculous. Everyone wants to experiment and explore their personalities and th…

No expert .... but oh do I long for the day when I no longer use that disclaimer, but here's my best stab at your question. "Women always choose the man, but a man has to allow himself to be chosen." Blanket answer to many questions ITT. I see a lot of people are asking about how to get a specific girl to like you here. Now, I'm no expert, but here's what I've come to learn from my many, many failures in the field: you're doing it wrong and you will most likely not get that particular girl to like you if you focus on her. I see my other friends get approached by girls constantly. I wonder why this doesn't happen to me. I think this is the most telling statement out of all of your writings. A trap that we can easily fall into, and lord knows I've done it, is comparing our successes, or lack thereof, to our friends and wingmen. Now, competition can be healthy, it can drive us to successes we previously thought impossible but when you determine your value on the basis of others, that, my friend, is not. Now look, we…

I really like this response, thanks. I guess the challenge is some venues I end up at don't have those possibilities. For instance, last night, my friend was literally two feet away and their conversation was boring, which is why I ended up talking to the girls I was talking to anyways. Nonetheless, I appreciate your input, and I'll try to apply it. Also, I want to clarify: I'm talking about giving the conversation a sexual undertone, not overtly talking about sex.

Here's a question I want you to really ponder and think about: Is it true that I have no interest in making out with girls that I don't have an emotional connection with .... or ... is this the excuse I make to myself to not make out with girls and thereby possibly get rejected? Now if it's the former, good on you, you're a healthier, more mature human being than myself. But often times, if we really do some deep soul searching, it's the latter. And in your mind "I could have made out with that …

Well, first of all, I don't pretend to be an expert on human interaction or presume to tell anyone how they should act around other people. But if it were me, yeah, that'd be fine. That's why I threw in the caveat "I don't want to make assumptions," because if he truly is honest, he's talked to the girl he's dating that he's still seeing other people, and she's ok with it, then yeah, I've got no problem with it. But, as others have pointed out, there are some tells in his language that leads one…

So overall, good report, but I have to comment on something real quick that struck me as odd. No judgment here, but I want you to be honest with yourself about this one: One of the things I've always said is be up front with girls about what kind of relationship you want And yet, earlier on, you said this: I would agree to boring coffee or dinner dates, not kino, not escalate, etc... just to see what it was like after dating my girlfriend. Now, maybe you guys have an open relationship, like I sa…

I'm still baffled that women have trouble scoring dates. The impression I get from many of my female friends is that they're either always being approached/on a date or they simply choose not to because of a conscious decision. Now, you can play the "why can't I get the right guy" card and perhaps that's more valid, but the first thing you need to if you want to actually interact with the folks here is that this is a remarkably different problem than what the majority of men who turn to seductio…

Well, this has been said again and again to the point of ad nauseam, but there are very different realities between what attracts men and what attracts women. As a result, techniques that may work well on men have an equally high chance of not working well on women. Now, that certainly isn't always the case, but in this instance it does seem to be. What I would say this woman did really well was be extremely aggressive and assertive, and kudos to her for that. But, as pointed out, it doesn't see…

I hate to point this out, but the age range of people who would take this job really aren't the ones who have to worry about AA or should even be on this sub. To put it bluntly, when you're young, opportunities throw themselves at you like nobody's business. First, there's college, the most target-rich environment known to humanity. Secondly, there's the fact you're young, and you probably still have lots of people in your social circle, because they haven't all gotten married or moved to pursue…

This is some great advice. I'm looking forwards to applying that myself in my own conversations. However, I think that being that forward with a kiss can be a little bit too much for a guy who's struggling with overcoming his ability to sexualize a conversation. I would suggest the OP study the escalation ladder, because while it not only increases the buying temperature of women, it also starts removing mental blocks in the average man's mind that hold him back from being assertive. Granted, th…

Totally off-topic here, but ... damn, you're only 22? Christ, if I had the kind of inner-game at 22 that you do, I would be living a very different life. Also, I can't agree more with the fact that there are some folks who were raised around girls and how to interact with them and some who weren't. I, an only child, a nerd, bad at sports, living a half hour away from where I went to school, definitely wasn't. Bingo. This is exactly what's going on with me, and you articulated it extremely well. Now, how I get past that ... It's sort of a "chicken and an egg" situation. Because I know that what's different about me is that I do completely lack outcome independence. And as a result, it colors my conversations, it affects my inner game, and thus it lowers my ability to seduce. And the fact that my ability is lowered to seduce is what starts this whole cycle. They'll want to be part of it. But if you're not, then you need to do whatever you can to make yourself happy. You need to do whatever you can to start living the life you want to live. Great question. For me, I like to sit at the bar, actually, because of exactly what you're talking about. I find that if I sit at a table or stand around, then I'm going to be doing exactly what Justin Timberlake told me not to do: hold up the wall. Tips how to do that? Just be conversational, and don't force it. The reality is that you need to win their trust, and you do that by being reliable, low maintenance and vaguely interesting from time to time. I used to be a bartender myself, and my regulars kept me sane at the shitty bar I worked at. They still recognize me out and about and try to buy me drinks now. But anyways, that's besides the point. I think a lot of it has to do with whether you come across as approachable or not. Keep in mind, AA is the number one thing that stops guys from talking to you. To an extent. I think you should let the conversation flow organically. Try to avoid the typical boring questions: "where are you from? What do you do?" Remember, the typical attractive woman gets hot literally all day long. From sun up to sun down, so you definitely want to be able to set yourself apart via this interaction. "Uggos" is a rough term, but the man speaks the truth. I've been picked up by a number of average looking women, simply because they were assertive and guys such as myself are notoriously weak to a girl putting themselves out there. We spend countless hours dealing with rejection in this pursuit, so when we find a girl that takes the initiative from us, it can be a welcome relief. Just understand that if you want to keep us, you're gonna have to bring something truly special to the table.

And that's where this can get really confusing. Maybe she knows exactly what she wants and she's mature enough to not confuse your intentions. And on the flip side of the coin, maybe you are too. But that often isn't in the case. Usually, following getting physical, our minds subconsciously start to develop an emotional contact as well. And that's where all this "it won't get weird" prep falls apart.

I completely agree. And I think there's definitely a place for constructive criticism, but it has to be exactly that: constructive. I work in management and have for the last five years or so. And I usually practice a technique called "build/break/build" also known as "sandwiching." I too just read some of your posts. This is going to sound harsh, so be forewarned, I mean it in the kindest way. Your problem is your attitude. You're constantly demeaning yourself in your history, projecting a "woe is me" tone and I'm fairly confident you do that in your interactions with women as well. I had a girlfriend who did this constantly. I would just tease her with things along the line of "And you do it all with such humility" with a smile. That usually made her blush, realize she was bragging, and cut it out. The other strategy is to point out the flaw in yourself. You catch yourself telling a story and then you simply cut yourself off with "jeez, I sound egotistical right now" or something along those lines. Those two tactics worked for me.

It seems eerily like that scene in Hitch(yes, I know, I saw that movie) where he finds out that the lawyer who hired him really just wanted to fuck the girl and move on, nothing about actual emotional connection. Maybe I'm just going through the summertime blues, but if you have to lie about how much time you're spending studying and make her go completely against her better judgment ... you're doing it wrong? Seems like you're …

Guy bartender here. He'll be flattered if you stop by. Just don't expect special treatment. Remember that part of his living is to flirt with female customers, and part of doing that is to appear unattached. Just FYI.

I'm no PUA or anything, but I think the best advice you could possibly have would be to take a far more zen approach towards this. Don't go into it, yes, I will have this woman. Just go into it looking to have fun and if you do bed her, great, if not, you'll bed someone else. Every single time I've ever tried to go in with the "I'm getting laid" mindset, it fails miserably. When I take a far more laissez faire attitude, it succeeds unexpectedly. Just food for thought. Edit: spelling.

Bingo. "Oneitis" is a crippling disease. You really want this girl? Practice LOA. Indifference is key. I say this as a chronic victim of the disease in question. And if you don't get her, remember, it's college! You don't need game. All you need is to have a pulse. Hell, in the words of Eddie Izzard, "pulse optional." Seriously, you'll never have more mechanisms to meeting attractive women any time in your life with more ease. So use it to its full advantage. Do as I say, not as I did.

I've always found standards are like seat belts. A great idea in principle, but not really relevant in my life.

I feel that this analysis completely neglects to understand the unfortunate relationship that society and culture has developed between the sexes. Think of this metaphor: One key that unlocks any lock is a master key. One lock that's unlocked by any key is a shitty lock. When I first heard that metaphor, I was appalled. How could someone objectify women in such a way? It attacked my gentelmanly sensibilities and made me sad to be a man. And then I grew up. The reality is that most men I've talke…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
