When I was first learning game, I learnt that when a girl doesn't give you attention you should mirror that action and go open someone else. Doing this demonstrates social value and that you don't need to hover around her.

However I've been having some problems with this. If a girl is interested in me, it's still likely that she'll eventually start talking to her friends or other people. This is where I would go open another person. However the conversation will eventually break up again and I'll go open another person. So this is my problem: Serial Opening.

I need to isolate with one girl and build a connection over a long period of time. But my conversations always seem to end early. Any advice?
