what's up fellow redditors, first time post here. so a few weeks back, I take this girl out for some food at a local Mexican place and we have a good time talking and just getting to know each other. I pay for everything and she says she could've covered her part, but I say don't worry about it, you can get the next one. sounds good right? about 5 days later, we go out again to a sushi joint and once again we have a good time talking, then the check comes out. we continue to talk for a bit and I ask if she wants to go elsewhere for drinks. she agrees, grabs the check, looks at it and says "you're buying my drinks at the bar". I say cool, no problem. we relocate and continue the conversation and I think all is going well, even some light cuddling and a kiss on the cheek at the end. I text her a few days later...nothing... a few days after that...nothing. any idea where the fuck up happened ? I'm sure it was probably the thing about the check. but I never got the chance to tell her it was just a shit test to see if she would be true to her word. nothing more. any insight?
