Prom is coming up , this saturday to be exact. A while back a friend told me a certain girl would go to Prom with me if i asked her. I procrastinated and now we have a week till Prom. Just yesterday i was thinking if i should still ask her or not, but started contemplating since it may be too late. My friend asked this girl, for me, if she would still go with someone if they asked her to prom, she said she would probably say no since shes set on going single to prom. Now, i dont know if she lied to him or actually meant it.

So my question is, should i still ask her and see her response or just leave it alone and ill just ask her to dance with me there.
